Fabulous meal using Scottish produce. Lovely staff to talk through the menu and top off a memorable evening.

The modern style of the restaurant denotes the innovation of the profile.Oysters ginger was so strong that the subtle flavor of oyster was taken away.Hummus was average cos the sweetness was too sharp.Deep fried fish was very good.Venison sausage was better than the steak cos the steak was too strong.

Absolutely wonderful dinner here on Saturday. Food was fabulous. Very tasty and good portions. We had the sharing menu. Service was great and cocktails very good too. One of our party has allergies and the team couldn't have been more accommodating. They recommended what menu to choose and brought her all her own versions of the courses. She didn't feel like she missed out at all. Thanks you Borough team!

Superb restaurant! A little off the beaten track, you'd be wise to make the effort to eat here. Expertly arranged menu, delicious flavours, fantastic wine list - all served by a lovely team in a fab atmosphere. We also dined at The Kitchin this weekend, yet it's Borough that impressed us most. Take a bow, Borough. We will be back again I hope!

I couldn't recommend Borough enough. The menu is exquisite, the service excellent and the atmosphere very relaxing! We have been cared for all through our time in the restaurant and the whole experience is nothing less than perfect. We will be returning!

I have been so looking forward to dining here. And it did not disappoint! The venue is very chic but felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed. Staff were very attentive. The highlight was of course was the food. The whole tasting menu was stunning and incredibly good value. We were all blown away by each course. The balance of each dish was perfect. I see a star in this restaurant's future. I'm selfishly hoping it will remain an undiscovered local gem for a little while longer.

Delicious fine dining at affordable prices in a cost and casual setting. I couldn’t recommend it more. I had never had an oyster I liked until having one at Borough and I could have happily eaten a full dinner of them there.6 amazing and interesting courses for £49 plus affordable drinks. We’ll definitely be returning soon!The staff were also extremely welcoming and helpful. We had an issue with our booking and they still managed to fit us in.

Enjoyed every bite! Really loved Borough, and I'll be recommending it to anyone who goes to Edinburgh. Watching and waiting until they get a Michelin star!!

Had the 3 course lunch yesterday, the food and service were all great. One of the best restaurants in Edinburgh!

I will say that The Borough I one of these restaurants that have wonderful vibe about it, £45 set menu, that is simply amazing, they really push the boat out. All paired to some very palatable wine.Highly recommended, fantastic birthday night out.
