First impression of venue was breakfast where even the bacon was tasteless. Thought we would try an evening meal after a busy day apart from the piles of rubbish by the front door, which had been there in the morning, we carried on. My friend had the cottage pie so sloppy she had to eat it with a spoon. Refund given without asking for one so must be a regular event. Bar staff quite rude. We found a lovely pub down the road with better food, prices and staff

We arrived late after a 6 hour drive and just missed last orders for food. The staff were amazing and put themselves out by taking our order. The food was delicious and much appreciated. All the staff were cheerful and friendly including the chef. At the end of the day they could have easily refused us but they didn't and we were grateful. Thank you to all.

After being away for 2 years finally returned to the area. Wow what has happened, some one find a duster and a hoover. A lot cleaner than previous visits, no dirty tables no abandoned crockery from previous diners and friendly staff. Must be the only time covid has actually help make an improvement, unfortunately still letting yourselves down with lukewarm food on the buffet breakfast considering how busy it was.

Great place for food and let kids run about in soft play area, staff are polite and sometimes run of their feet depending on how busy the place is, be prepared for a wait if it is busy also for play area . Remember to put your car registration in at reception for 3 hours free parking.

What a pack of ignorant unhelpful staff, I had to walk out …. 1staff saying go to the bar when the other tells u to sit down for your order, walk in and stand to be seated and the staff look at you doing nothing for 5 minutes… to tell you there fully booked with 2 dozen empty tables

Poor service this time, Also went for breakfast the next morning at 6.30, & it wasn't open, waited 10 minutes, still not open, I left without breakfast, not good

Very friendly staff, quick service & very affordable lunch. Two for ÂŁ8.99 offer is great.A second vegan option would be great but the chilli was delicious. The toilets were clean & well maintained. There was no issue for those of us who don't wear masks.10/10

Overcooked, chewey, inedible veggie sausages? Honestly felt like I was chewing on a dog toy. Mushrooms were a soggy mess and tasted old. Toast arrived 2 minutes before my main breakfast did. Cold, I like to add. The beans were vile as well. Had been cookee in the microwave for waaaay too long.Customer service was embarrassing. 10 minute wait on drinks, no apology when I had eventually got my drinks, and who serves tea without sugar and a spoon? What a joke.

Went with some friends on a Sunday evening. The social distancing is good and there’s a clear walkway through. There was no beef for the roast which was disappointing but it happens. The turkey was nice - gravy was great. The staff were fine and pleasant enough. The tables have chewing gum stuck underneath them - my knee was stuck to it. Also was sat next to a radiator which was exceptionally hot but I never asked for it to be turned down. Bathrooms very clean. Cheap and cheerful.
