Burgers and Beers Grillhouse in Edinburgh

Friendly, fries were stunning, burger with jam and peanut butter very good. Wings to spicy, chicken was sold out. Price okay. Maybe a bit too expensive

During our 5 days in Edinburgh we visited this place twice. The burgers were excellent and I had the Flying scotsman with haggis crumb which was delicious. My partner had a cheesy burger with mac and cheese in it. We added loaded fries that were delicious. Both times the service was excellent and would highly recommend a visit here.

Considering the hype I was not that impressed. An ok selection of burgers but to be honest way over priced. Yes the beef is good quality but each burger is £14 plus you then have to pay a minimum of £4.95 for fries and then a drink on top of that. A pint will cost approximately £5. Thats £25 minimum spend. I've definitely had better for a lot less. Service was average at best and wasn't particularly busy either. Atmosphere was ok though. All in all was average at best and unfortunately I would not return and waste my money.

Our server was “Mac” she was amazing once we stepped through the door. It was her 1st time meeting Jamaicans and she was genuinely excited. All our orders came out timely and the food was delicious. She made us laugh with her charming personality. We loved the kick - wings and burgers … everything tasted good .. will be back soon.

Where do I start?.. Absolutely.. DELICIOUS!!!!!I had the burger of the week which was star wars themed, my partner had 12 wings. The ambience of the restaurant is unmatched and the staff are so friendly. Despite the name, the monkey fingers are also a hidden gem. Would definitely eat here again if I'm ever in Scotland again.

Fantastic service from the staff, who gave us tips for things to do around Edinburgh during our visit, as well as a well informed run through of specials on offer. The food was also amazing, we didn't order much but still walked away absolutely stuffed as portion sizes are very generous and it tastes so good you couldn't possibly put it down. I ordered the Jalapeno Chili burger and I'd order it again in a heartbeat.

Great flavours.Didn't try any of the burgers however we tried their starters.Had the loaded fries with burger sauce and bacon. Onion rings and halloumi fries.Everything is recommended 100%.Great price, great location and good portions.

Great burgers and classy craft beers. Halloumi fries were amazing, so was the American Independence Day burger. Awesome service, but the restaurant is a bit pricey.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING,MUST VISIT!!!!First time in Edinburgh, felt like a burger and wow did they deliver..I had the frying scotsman burger. Best burger ive ever had in my life and the wings were so flavoursome. Great value for money and lovely staff!Thank you

My husband and I popped in after seeing this burger place during our online hunt for good food.We were not disappointed. I initially wanted to get the chicken and waffles that I had seen on the menu whilst looking online, however they didn't have any in. Which is not their fault being on the Royal mile I can imagine everyone pops in and it is what it is.My husband had the Anna Nicole Smith and I had the Dirty South. Both were amazing. We both had a side of chips which were crispy and gorgeous.I had cheeky wee cocktail which was divine.Sure the burgers are over £10 each but for what you get in them and the quality. I feel like that is an absolute bargain.We were served by the wonderful Natalie who had the most energy of anyone I have ever met.All in all we had a great time in a cosy place with amazing food and drinks.I will definitely be back for my chicken and waffles.I could not recommended this place highly enough
