Absolutely Amazing staff, friendly and funny! Deep fried snickers was amazing and they even went to the extent of completing a special deep fried request for our group. 10/10 come here when visiting Edinburgh.

Fun and entertaining staff and delicious food. Everything you want in a street food place like it. Deep fried Mars bar will be in my memory for a while

To be fair we only came over as the fire alarm in hotel had us out on the street as we was getting ready to go out. Glad we did though, best fish supper ever, huge piece of fish and loads of lovely chips. Super nice staff and good looking too boot, sorry if that's not appropriate but hey ho)). 😉

Brilliant takeaway staffed by some of the nicest people we’ve ever met, ordered food on two occasions during our stay and the food was really good and the customer service was even better. Thanks guys and thanks to el chapo for the fresh breads 😉

Got the black pudding, jumbo haggis, and chips here tonight. The people here were super friendly and the fried stuff was surprisingly ungreasy. Place is tiny but dine-in isn't allowed anyway. One of the cheapest places for food in the area

Chips were stale, as if they had been fried more than once. Very crunchy. The brown sauce was overly vinegary & unfortunately tasted rancid! Will not return here.

A few days ago I ordered a few things from them and unfortunately I was very disappointed.I live literally 5 minutes from the premises and the food was delivered about 2 hours after placing the order. the pasta in the spaghetti was very overcooked and everything was cold (disgusting), my chicken burger was cold and it was just a roll with a piece of chicken.I waited forever, I was very hungry and ended up with a huge stomach ache.I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY, NERVE AND HEALTH

It is a very small fish and chips shop. It seem to be a more familiar place. Dont expect luxury furniture here. The prices are fair for around 8£ and the taste is very good. The fish was made fresh in front of us and this show that this shop is not selling you any fish which stands since some days. You can have a seat inside and enjoy your fish and chips. The staff was very friendly and the location is wonderful. I guess its the only fish and chips store at the grass Market. I would recommend everyone to come here and after that you can visit one the pubs around the place. It was definitely one of the best fish and chips I had in Edinburgh

A convenient place along Grassmarket that advertises late hours. We visited in the evening. It took about 5 minutes for them to heat up a big piece of fish. That tasted fine. Unfortunately, the chips were mushy, like they’d been sitting in a warmer for hours. Not a place we’d visit again.
