The place is very nice and also the service is very kind, I tasted Full Scottish Breakfast and it was delicious.

The view is excellent, unfortunately the staff couldn't be bothered to actually do something.We were told that we would need to wait a few minutes because they were busy. Two minutes later, the waiters decided to have lunch and ignore us. After we finally managed to order (that really took some effort), it took another 20 Minutes for the coffee to arrive. Never have I ever witnessed it taking the better part of an hour to have an espresso.

I have been going to this place regularly since 2016. Every 2-3 months went to this place to rest of my walks on Royal Mile. I love the location and architecture. Not anymore, it is going downhill, lasts times the staff has been more and more rude. Looks like anyone there want actually be there working. Some of times they looked at me like if I were disturbing their peace, and sometimes it looks like it is more a staff canteen than an open to the public business.

Food is quite nice, staff is alright but nothing to write home again. Reasonably priced. We’d return again.
