Lovely tea Room, the staff is very kindly. The prices are reasonable and the food is amazing. We loved this place so much, we've been there 2 times. We loved everything. The desserts are so good homemade desserts. We've tried a lot of things on the menu and we're pretty sure we can say that there's something for everyone and it will be good ^^. We recommend that place and we will come back and eat here again !

Lovely tea room. Very good variety of tea and homemade cakes. I had the scone with jam and cream, was very tasty and fresh. The teapots and tea cups were very retro. Loved that. The place is old style decorated. Reminded me of going to my Grandma's house. If you are a fan of tea you would love it. Service was good and friendly.

Quaint little oldie worldie tea room. We had afternoon tea and scones which were delicious but choice of other cakes which also looked good. Big teapot of tea between two of us.

The girls running Clarinda's are charming and the cook lovely food. Everything was delicious the Cinnamon toast was a yummy trip down memory lane, a great selection of teas in charming ambience, well worth the walk down the Canongate

Lovely shop for afternoon tea

Afternoon tea and scones, you cannot go wrong in this place. This is a stereotypical British tea room, one you would find around the corner in the good old times. The staff is polite and prompt. For tourists: It is usually crowded for afternoon tea, so better go early if you are going only once ever. (For a rather posh experience, one has to elsewhere in the town, those places begin with £40+ per person. Clarinda's is pocket friendly)

Very authentic Scottish tearoom complete with teapots and china crockery. Beautiful garden to match and very reasonably priced for its location. Lovely way to spend an afternoon

When I was walking toward Edinburgh city centre, a royal setting seen through the window caught my glimpse. I felt my stomach growl and decided to give this place a try. After finding a place to sit I couldn't stop looking around at all the little details. I felt quite like at the Buckingham palace, truly. Not to mention the friendly staff! I ordered a french toast and a carrot pie. The french toast honestly was the best french toast I've ever tasted in my life. The carrot cake was a bit too sweet to my taste, but still delicious. The only problem is that it's quite pricey

I very cosy and welcoming venue, the perfect environment to warm up with some tea and cake.Speaking of, there are plenty of goodies to select from. Filling meals are available on the menu, as well as many tasty sweet treats available, all displayed on the table to entise you.Overall a lovely tea room and definitely worth while stopping for a treat.

This is an absolute delight of a place. The whole ambient looks like you're at you (slightly posh) grandma's place, with very idyllic setup, tiny tables and classical music. But the food, wow, that's amazing. We only had scones with tea (cream tea), but it was SO GOOD! Also, the service was amazing, with very kind personnel. I strongly recommend.
