Corbie in Edinburgh

First time we have been here and I have to say it was a Real Treat. Proper Chips not like the horrid frozen ones that most chippers pass off as Chips nowadays. My Hubbie had a Haddock Supper which he said was beautiful and cooked to perfection. I myself had a Mince Pie supper and it was absolutely lovely. Mince Pie was Really Really good. Amazing, Friendly Staff, Really Good prices too. Wait time was quick too, especially for Teatime on a Saturday. Thankyou so much. We will definately be back for more.AAAAAAAAAA++++++++++

Have heard its great and i like to support local businesses so have ordered online twice. Have cancelled twice. Im sure its lovely BUT I'm not willing to wait an hour and a half minimum MIDWEEK for a takeaway. Just not good enough.

Second time I used them. They’ve gone from 4 stars to 2 stars. It was barely warm and the fish batter had a queer taste. Usually due to over use of the cooking oil! The fish however was over cooked, dry and crumbly. Most of it went in the bin as it was inedible! Won’t return!

Always a good option but a bit pricey compared to some other local options. However, you do get good quality for your money....

Really decent chippy. Suppers are good - the fish are pretty large, the smoked sausages are whole.Only downside is that it's quite busy and as a result sometimes the chips come out a little undercooked to keep the queue moving

Sooooo goooood!! Comfort food at its best. You just have to look at the queues to know the food is good.

What this takeaway lacks in crispiness, they make up in speed. I walked in, ordered, and had my food in under a minute. Great takeaway if you are in a hurry.

I've just edited my review. Chip steak supper last nite and again the edges of chip steak rock hard, actually bent my fork. Time before they said it won't happen again. It's prob been cooked then sat for a good while till I've ordered it. Think next time I order online I'll call them to ask if they can cook fresh one.. they should be able to do this...

First time trying this takeaway but will definitely not be my last absolutely fantastic the fish was lovely and thick and just melted in the mouth. Kids had chips, cheese and donner meat there was a lot in the portions. Staff were very pleasant. Well worth the 5 stars.
