Great little cafe in the heart of Broughton. Lacks the upmarket veil of neighbouring Canonmills cafes which isn't a bad thing, it's simple and high quality and people come back because of it. The family that run it are wonderful and friendly. I normally get coffee from here and it's always a reliably nice mocha. It's miles better then the Costa at Tesco. Also use biodegradable cups which is a big bonus. My only qualm is that it doesn't stay open for longer when I need my caffeine fix.

Lovely team, good selection and fantastic price. It was a little busy at lunchtime, I suppose that is a sign of how good they are. Would definitely use again.

Love this place! A very nice cafe with amazing food at very reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed the tuna mayo sandwich and soups.

Excellent wee cafe in Edinburgh amazing salads sandwiches and snacks with a Spanish twist, try the tortilla Espanola.The staff are diamonds and the food is excellent. For the quality of food compared with the price you pay you'd be hard pushed to find better value anywhere in Edinburgh, coffee is also really good

This place is great, and whenever I go for a hike or long walk I make sure to stock my backpack with their empanadas, cakes and desserts. The staff is very nice and helpful and they even have tables if you want to stay! 100% recommended! Love it!

Grabbed a panini to go after walking past far too many times and it will be the first of many visits. Gorgoues sandwich, wonderful service and can't beat the price.

Great wee cafe. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. Big smiles. They are clearly a popular cafe with plenty customers seeking breakfast and coffee on a Sunday. Their coffee is very good indeed. They have a good selection of bakery and breakfast options. All customers seemed to have enjoyed it. The cafe has a relaxed and cozy feel to it. There aren't many seating places though. Even when it was busy, I was not rushed or hurried; most certainly the staff kept their tried approach. Highly recommended for a casual breakfast on a lazy morning.

Friendly lady, wonderful little cafe. The sandwiches are among the best in Edinburgh. She does not just stuff a roll with cheap ingredients and toast it far too crispy, but instead uses high quality ingredients that work together beautifully. The cafe is as good as it gets. On top of that they also have some delicious sweets. This is my go to breakfast spot in the area but also worth a detour when you are nearby or in town. The Canonmills area is rocking with good spots at the moment anyway! Give it a shot, you don't want to miss this one!
