Great food, but I needed 10 days of quarantine when I told people I had the Delta variant.

The delta never disappoints! Our family has been going here for over 20 years and for good reason. They are very reliable, friendly and the customer service is top-notch. The flavours are amazing and never had any problems with the food, it’s always stunning.We recently tried another takeaway which was a total disappointment and we ordered the Delta as soon as we knew we weren’t getting our food and they saved the night! Cannot recommend enough!!!

Great curries, friendly and quick delivery. We discovered this place in the last few months before leaving Edinburgh and we're gutted not to have been able to enjoy it for longer. High quality ingredients, fresh flavours and a lot more variety than other restaurants. Particularly recommend the lentil dishes - the chicken Kathmandhu is brilliant. Highly recommended.

The Delta is totally consistent and it's the only Indian restaurant that I use in Edinburgh. I have to recommend places to eat, to my guests and I never worry about them being disappointed.Everything is delicious but if you are vegetarian try the the Chana Sag as a main..wonderful!

If you're into getting quality for your money this is the place to go. The two person main we ordered was delicious and it could easily feed 3.Staff are very friendly and helpful.It all tasted fresh and you get a good variety with every item having it's own unique flavour. It's a takeaway but the quality is easily as good as a restaurant.We highly recommend and we're going back for sure.

I'd say this is the best Indian takeaway in the area. Almost best in Edinburgh! ! Takes a while to get your food but everything is made from scratch to order and is well worth the wait. Foods amazing and should cost more than it does. I highly recommend this place and I'm very picky and almost vegan so that's saying something. Ten out of ten for this place.

Everything I've had has been tasty and well prepared. Chilli garlic chicken with chickpeas is great and everything has been on time for collection. I can't comment on the delivery service as I wouldn't trust anywhere to deliver quality of service or food for a meals on wheels service for those incapable of leaving their sofa.

How many things would I change about Delta? Naan!I have eaten a lot of curries in my time and this is by far one of the best Indian takeaways that I have ever tried. Great for quality, taste, size and price, Delta delivers everything that you would hope for when you're in your time of need.The food is consistently fresh in taste and, unlike so many other restaurants, the meat is of an excellent standard. We generally purchase a takeout for a group of 5-8 and have tried a good selection from the menu. We have never been disappointed.My favourite dish is the Chicken Tikka Kebab (£6.95) which is deliciously soft and tender. The Lamb Pasanda (£6.95) isn't something that I'd ever choose but I tried someone else's leftovers and found that it was also great. Don't miss out on the side dishes; Tarka Dal and Brinzal Bhuna are perfect for mopping up with a piece of soft naan bread. Even the sad salads are pretty nice!Tip: Recently we've had punctual delivery but I think this is probably as a result of us ringing up earlier in the evening. Be aware that they can get very busy (leave an hour for delivery).Note: I would rate Delta a "5" if I wasn't benchmarking it against all restaurants.
