Fabulous food, lovely atmosphere with romantic and cozy jazz music playing. We had the catch of the day (cod + mussels) and the mushroom risotto and both were delicious!

Spontaneous off the street visit on a busy evening and still accommodated without reservation, albeit with a time limit. The service was brilliant and the food amazing. We all had scallops to start followed by seafood linguine. Can honestly say the scallops were the best I've ever tasted. Linguine of equal quality. Great wine too. Will definitely head back again but with a reservation so I can enjoy it all the more!

A charming and authentic Italian bistro in the heart of the old town, with the wine list displayed proudly in the walls of the restaurant. We had the seafood linguine, the mushroom and truffle ravioli and the spinach risotto. The seafood linguine would rival any coastal Italian restaurant, and it was passed around the table for everyone to enjoy.Agnes, our waitress, was attentive, and added to the charm of a relaxed evening. We enjoyed our visit so much we came back for mulled wine the next day…and may have ordered another antipasti board to enjoy with a bottle of their delightful white wines!

Wow. That's the first word that comes to mind here. I'm a chef and the food was exceptional. The mussels were hot and I mean piping hot but not over cooked. I was so impressed. The service was fantastic and an open kitchen to watch. A perfect date night spot. Or if youre solo like myslef. Truly a wonderful time

We came here during Sunday afternoon. Was empty when we arrived but quickly filled up. Great food and service. The mussels is recommended. Order extra bread to soak up the delicious broth. The risotto was very good!

We went for our 10th wedding anniversary, and could not have asked for more.An excellent menu which was varied without being overly long or complicated ensured that there was something anyone would be happy with. The food was fresh, well balanced, and absolutely delicious. I have been fortunate to have mussels in a few places, and these ones were really up there amongst the best.Like the menu, the wine list is very well thought out with a good variety of both types and prices. The small staff on the night of two were busy and hustling all night, but without making us feel rushed. In fact they were friendly, helpful and polite without exception. It is a slightly smaller space, so you have to be comfortable being close to the other diners, but it does fit the feel of the place, and helps add to the atmosphere. All in all we had a fantastic evening, and could not think of anything that could have been bettered. Thanks folks, we can't wait to come back.

Had a great seafood chowder, lots of mussels, king prawns & white fish etc. Super tasty sauce with potatoes. YUM! Brilliant recommend. 👏 So good I finished it all.

Friendly staff and the seafood platter was better and more substantial than expected (photo is the small size). Only area for improvement - the bread could be if a bit higher quality. Wine was great though!

Cosy small place with very fast waitresses. Not many choices in the menu. King prawns a a starter were okay, but there were only 3 🦐s. Day special with smoked fish was 10 out of 10!
