Edinburgh Larder Cafe in Edinburgh

I did want to put a picture of the fantastic breakfast we had at the Edinburgh Larder, but as soon as it arrived it looked so awesome that we tucked in! It was absolutely delicious and the coffee was also awesome. It looks to be a very popular place, and I can understand why due the tasty food and fabulous service from the extremely friendly staff. But don't take my word for it, go and visit yourself!

Came here for breakfast and we were not disappointed! The sausages were delicious and great portion sizes. Really friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back.

Can’t say enough good things about the larder! My partner and I visited over Valentines weekend and had the loveliest brunch here! A few things were out of stock but our lovely waiter practically bent over backwards to give us alternatives and help out with dietary restrictions! Our food was genuinely delicious and my smoked haddock hash was one of the best brunch items I ’ve ever had! Coffee was great and even though we were a bit late to sit down due to a mix up with a different booking, at no point did we feel rushed or stressed. We’ll be *running* back here the next time we’re in Edinburgh! ❤️

The eggs Florentine were incredible. For the price you pay I feel like the portions were a bit small, but the taste is worth it. Also super nice staff. The coffee tastes amazing.

The best poached egg dishes, bacon, and sausage. Can't say enough about The Edinburgh Larder. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food was amazing.

Fab breakfasts, great coffee and lovely service. Just make sure you book in advance if you can or expect to wait even on a weekday. Was tempted to dock a star for the lack of brown sauce, but apparently it’s only temporary…😅. Food image is partially consumed by the way….

Cozy cafe with plenty of choices. Excellent full Scottish breakfast, porridge, coffees and teas. Friendly staff, good location. Reservations recommended, so plan ahead.

Lin the morning we had to go out for breakfast as the hotel kitchen is being refurbished. So we had a look at places to eat at. The first two.we came across which where both not open so ended up here.I think luck was on our side.The place was amazing great vibe to the place, great background music. Was busy.Staff was very friendly.This is the place to go for breakfast in Edinburgh.So I had the full breakfast which looked and tasted amazing. My partner had the vegan breakfast. Both dishes where the best breakfast we have had In a good while.Plus they even sell the ketchup. You will know what I am on about once you go there.Was that good we are going again.Thank you guys for great food.

We visited Edinburgh Larder for breakfast and it was excellent. I had the Full Scottish but my wife wanted something not on their menu. They were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

A centrally located place to sample a full Scottish breakfast. It was clear they sourced their ingredients well and the food was well presented. Be aware, there’s two locations next door to each other, one for bookings and one for walk-ins. Can get quite busy at weekends.
