My husband and I have been going here since it first opened over 4 years ago, when Paolo himself was helping with the cooking and serving. It is still our favorite Italian restaurant, and we celebrate all our special occasions here, and bring our friends and family to share in the deliciousness that is La Pergoletta. We have never been disappointed - the food and the service are always outstanding!!

Great restaurant. Had the papardelle with Ragu and it was really good. For a started we tried the meatballs. They were also on point. My wife ordered penne and it was also perfect. We would come back here again.

Nice relaxed bistro and bar. Good menu selection till late. Very good service...friendly and knowledgeable. Usually some form of special offer on and of course the chance to try the tables afterwards.

The steak was good, tender but quite dry, not juicy at all. You can add the sauce but have to pay for it seperatly. The black budding scotch egg is just okay...

Wonderful venue, friendly staff and excellent food. Really enjoyed the steak, cooked to perfection. The white chocolate and vanilla cheesecake is easily the best dessert I've ever had. also got given a £5 free bet and won half the meal back on the tables! Result! ♠♥♣♦

I really feel that this is an undiscovered restaurant in Edinburgh city centre. Had a fantastic meal here with my wife, she loved her fillet steak and I really enjoyed the ribeye. After the meal she had a fantastic cocktail and we chilled out at the comfy seats at the bar.Highly recommend coming here to anyone who's looking for a change of scenery from the usual restaurants sandwiched in the city centre.

Play poker here every day and always get a meal or the daily special. The salmon linguine is very very good and this place is famous for steaks. Highly recommend.
