A traditional well decorated pub.Felt a bit weird as the server hardly gave me the time of day. They seem to only want diners and ask everyone as they walk in, if they want food. The head on the beer was huge. We had a beer/cider and left.

On a quiet misty night this lovely olde world pub was a delight to visit centered in the heart of Edinburghs old Town.

·

Nice Beers and probably the best looking deep fried Mars bar in the land, very tasty!

We found this pub coincidentally when walking around Grass Market. Nice friendly staff. Bartender knew so much about whisky, so it was easy to pick what we like. Highly recommended. We visited many bars/pubs on grass market, but Fiddler's Arms was the best!

Dropped into the Fiddler's Arms for an evening meal and opted for the Haggis Neeps &Tatties and Chefs Pie (Beef). The staff were lovely and the food was on the table very quickly. The food was superb. The missus absolutely loved the Pie and the Haggis Neeps & Tatties were a delight. Will definitely go back.

Good food and great service, very clean and taking the effort to abide by health protocols. Tables were wiped down between customers. Solid food, might feel a little "touristy" but it doesn't feel cheap. The soup, sausages, and vegetarian option of the day change regularly. Nice place to grab a pint and a good bite while you're walking around Edinburgh.

First pub we found walking into Grassmarket. No cask ale ok Guinness for me, glass of Merlot for the Mrs. Guinness was very nice. Merlot was nice once it breathed a bit. Both had pie of the day. Venison. Meat was very tender and the gravy was to die for. Strange shape skin on chips good for scooping up gravy. Nice selection of veg, courgette, swede, carrots and leeks, not over cooked. Will definitley go back again.,

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Alan took the time to explain everything we asked as me and my family were new to the area. Next time I'm back in Edinburgh I will visit this pub again. I do recommend this pub, the food is nice too.

Amazing food and service all around!! My brother asked for 3 different whiskeys neat, the guy who helped us was beyond helpful and brought 3 different whiskeys from 3 different regions of Scotland. Which to his taste were phenomenal! For me who can't stand the smell or taste have to say they were Amazing! As for food! We all loved the food we chose. Haggis and tatties, bangers and mash, and salmon and mash definitely a place to check out!
