Amazing food, friendly service & reasonable prices from this local bistro, FC is easily one of my favourite restaurants in Edinburgh. Their treacle basted fillet beats any opposition hands down!

Brilliant Restaurant with great food and lovely wines all at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend and I will most certainly be going back.

I went with my nephew on the way to a Hearts match. We were a bit late but they easily accommodated us. The food and service were great but we had to rush of to the match and had to pass the Sticky Toffee Pudding which would have been to compare with my nephew's mother's legendary equivalent!

Lovely staff, great atmosphere and fantastic food. We went for a birthday meal with friends and enjoyed the night. Steaks were amazing, fish done to perfection and yummy desserts. Recommended!

We had a great time at this place. You can choose between 2 or 3 course menu. The have a fixed menu and temporal specials too. The food is proper Scottish, a bit on the heavy side but it’s expected. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation are excellent. Cocktails are worth trying. The place is very nice and the staff super gentle and efficient. Especially the Latvian waitress. Prices are okay.

One of our raspberries wasn't ripe on our chocolate cake. That’s it. That is the only criticism and well, yeah it's lame lol. The atmosphere could have been helped by less intense lighting choices, there. But honestly this place is wonderful. The set menu has great and diverse options, we ordered chicken, fish, steak and pork, they were all cooked to perfection. The wait staff were plesent and attentive, everything was clean and well spaced. Honestly, a great experience. Thanks.
