Five Guys in Edinburgh

Best burger I have had for a while. McDonald's has a lot to learn.

We had a late snack of burgers. Chips..and a cold drink..this is way above any burger I have eaten before...it was móist..tasty. I didn't want it to finish..even the hand cut chips stayed hot whilst I was enjoying every bite of my burger..big place..clean and tidy too

I'm not someone who posts negative reviews or complains about customer service at all but this was honestly the worst customer service experience I can remember having. Holly J is the name of the girl who took our order. She was unbelievablely rude and hostile and for absolutely no reason whatsoever. It ruined the experience for us which is a shame because Five Guys do a fine burger..

Great quality food and the staff were friendly to us. Probably the best fast food fries around and the burger was delicious too.To be honest, the quality was actually higher than what I experienced at a fancy restaurant a few days ago!

Great meal here! They are operating a queuing system outside to limit people mingling inside while waiting to order. The queue moved very quickly - we placed an order and then we're sat eating in 10 mins! Love that all extra toppings are free. Worth noting that the large fries were more than a two person portion! Burger was juicy and not overcooked. Delicious.

The server at the till was very nice and helpful, but they messed up just about every part of my meal. Gave me the wrong chips and when I politely went back to point it out, I was first asked to wait in the queue, then told they couldn't take them back. They then stared at me blankly. Apparently there was nothing they could do, despite the receipt showing the order was incorrect and them admitting fault. I went back to my table, opened my burger and seen they had added stuff I didn't ask for, such as tomato and raw onion but left out my requests for the likes of relish and fried onion. That's not even to mention the poor quality of meat. I told them the drink machine didn't seem to be working properly and was told if I pressed it hard enough, it would work, even though it didn't show on the screen. I would up with the wrong juice and was told they'd fix it and I could get a different refill when I finished that instead of offering me a fresh cup for the drink I actually wanted. Heard a lot of mixed reviews for the franchise and this was my first time trying it. Safe to say, it will be my last. Utter disappointment and I haven't even touched on the ridiculous prices they charge folk just to mess up their order and offer no apology or resolution.

Hmm, burger a bit dry and lacking in vitality. Chips great. Ordered via ubereats and the cost for a burger and fries delivered was £17.98… so when you spend a lot you hope for excellent and it wasn’t all excellent, but at least it was there and it was filling, but it could be more than that.

Five Guys is very filling, you can choose your burger toppings and milkshake flavours. Has great indoor seating with a good view of the city. Would recommed going with family. The staff are very friendly too.

These burgers are out of this world! And the chips..... cooked in peanut oil and they taste fantastic!!!! If you are hungry its worth a visit

Outstanding Five Guys experience... Easily best one I've been to. All the staff go above and beyond and food was unreal. Had huge bacon cheeseburger with everything on it with fries. Hot and fresh and served with a smile. Thanks guys, will be back soon with friends and family.
