This is an amazing horror themed bar on three levels. With the lighting effects and decor it has a really good atmosphere. Only problem we had was the DJ who emptied the place when he started doing his own karaoke

Fantastic !! 3 level bar serving a good selection of drinks.in a converted church. Tried the pizza for lunch and it was one of the best I've ever had! Staff member was friendly and efficient.. really enjoyed our time here... watch out for the spooky display!. Will definitely be back...

To be honest I expected more of this place. When you think of a frankenstein themed place you think spooky environment, sounds, visuals, music, food, drinks. The decoration inside was very nice don't get me wrong, but lacked something.. They could have had a themed menu with drinks and food. Instead they have a usual pizza menu and 1 themed cocktail which for it's price it was rather small. They could have had a light show with static charges and whatnot, instead they only stick to the immovable decoration such as wall fixtures and a life sized (I think) mannequin of The Monster which were cool but still I expected something more. They could have had spooky, monsterish music but it was the usual tunes you listen to everywhere else. They also have screens that they play one Frankie movie on loop, which was exciting just like having a pizza in home watching your favourite movie, but they could have had different movies in each screen and you decide which one to watch. Maybe it was different years ago and I would love to have seen it. Nevertheless we had a blast on our vacation, the food was very tasty and the drinks also, a bit overpriced but still so so good.Staff were very polite, helpful and attentive. Very good job to the waitress that was assigned to our table 👏

I revisited this cool place having been there some years before. The visit was somewhat ruined by them running completely out of beer on tap which meant we left after one drink. It has a Frankenstein theme unsurprisingly based around the Universal films and its different from the more traditional pubs near it.

Quirky pub with 3 bars over 3 levels. Basement is a bierkeller, ground floor main bar then there's a terrace bar upstairs. There's frankenstein videos being streamed onto big screens and a great playlist. It was busy at the time so there was a bit of a wait at the bar but would definitely return again.

Complete random walk past and decided to stop for a midday pizza. So glad I did. The place is a bit quirky, which is good. Staff were friendly also. Thumbs up so far. Prices are also good.So to the empty plate picture.... Well ordinarily I'd maybe show you what I was about to eat but it was sooooo good you need to go yourself. Trust me, the trip is worth it.I had 'The works'. O.M.G.!Highly recommended!!!!!

If you like something a bit quirky try here !Hubby is a massive film fan and I love all things spooky / gothic so we loved it. It was 4pm on a Friday afternoon and you could see it was going to get busy later on. Upstairs is more atmospheric. Our friends were lukewarm but we would happily go back . Didn’t try the food but if you fancy a pizza they do serve food.

Brilliant bar with fantastic Frankenstein memorabilia. Old wooden decor with an inn like vibe that you would see in a hammer horror movie. Brilliant music nice drinks menu and very friendly staff.

Well worth a visit for a different night out. With things as they are still at present its not fully open to its full potential. We still had a good time even with the reduced food and drink menus., The staff are friendly and attentive. It's on our list to visit again.

One of the only bars we could get into without a booking for the few nights we stayed in Edinburgh. Scenery is great and the drinks were good too! Oh and they have Frankenstein on repeat if that fits your boat.
