It's no exaggeration to say that this was the best meal I've ever eaten. The homemade ginger beer had a lovely bite without being overpowering. The blend of flavors on both the chicken chimichurri sandwich and the banana bread tumble (with bacon) were perfect. The portions were exactly right, the service was great, and even the prices were fantastic! Can't recommend enough.

Nice little Café. Very friendly staff, the cappuccino was great but a little small for my liking. 😃 Eggs Benedict very tasty, the bread a little dry though. The pancakes very delicious and not too sweet. Fresh orange 🍊 juice! A definite recommendation but you must reserve upfront. Ask for a seat at the window! We will come again! Thanks for the perfect service and food!

Super good brunch place with whimsical also classical atmosphere and attention to details. The food is really delicious. I ordered lunch menu Mexican melt and it taste divine with very nice textures buns. The orange juice is very good from high quality orange for sure. Usually I am pretty picky foodie paying attention to food taste, service and interiors and this restaurant satisfy all :)

Cute little spot for brunch! I ordered the Emperor Eggs Royale (pictured) which was lovely, although one of the hash browns was very salty (almost inedible). My boyfriend enjoyed his brunch, but felt it was too small. Other than that it’s a great place with friendly staff!

This place is amazing! We were walking by looking for a brunch spot and we thought it would be a nice place. The restaurant was packed when we came in but the hostesses were so kind and were able to seat us very quickly. To drink I had their Ginger Beer which was delicious and to eat their Banana Bread Tumble which was also very tasty. I even tried some of my mom’s Eggs florentine which was just as delicious. Great spot for a brunch!

Excellent service and brunch from Greenwoods today. The staff were kindly, friendly and the decor is great. Tastiest pancakes I’ve had in a very long time! Will definitely come back.

This was the first place we went in Edinburgh (almost 6 months ago so I'm SORRY for the delay) and it was so lovely! The breakfast was huge and delicious, we had a gorgeous sunny spot in the window and after chatting with lovely Jen about our weekend plans she offered some great recommendations and brought me birthday banana bread - so gorgeous of her!The place is really cool inside, my boyfriend and I talk about this breakfast (eggs especially) all the time and really hope to go back. :)

Initially I went to try some dessert, I thought I would find waffles on the menu but they don't have and I tried the scrambled eggs which was a very good choice. The portions are very large, I couldn't finish my meal, the eggs were super creamy and delicious. The decor is great, very nice and welcoming. all the details are incredible nice.

Excellent place for an early breakfast….I suspect it may get busy later in the day. British with Dutch touches, I loved the modern Delft porcelain and Dutch countryside fresco. Excellent food, fresh and tasty, we had banana bread with mascarpone and veggie breakfast. Would definitively come back!

This is by far the best breakfast I've ever eaten.Me and my partner were away for our engagement and were looking at places for breakfast following our stay. The photos looked great but was incomparable to the food, spectacular. The staff are friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere inside. Thanks again
