Gusto Restaurant & Bar in Edinburgh

Wow, wow, wow...Called in for a late lunch and we have been welcomed! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt like the VIP guests. We have been well looked after by the team and it was an amazing experience. The service was outstanding and the staff were very attentive. The food, yum, very tasty indeed and the tiramisu...😍probably second best I had in my life. Thank you for making our day so enjoyable!

Stopped in last night in New Town and the experience was superb. Decor and atmosphere was amazing, staff were friendly and passionate, and the food was delicious. Glad to learn they have several locations in NW England, we will be stopping in to those. Exquisite modern Italian food; uncomplicated but explosive with flavour. “Italian food” is very hit and miss these days, especially when the (scarcely Italian) high street chains just can’t seem to keep the standards up—not a problem with Gusto. Don’t change a thing.

Italian dreams come true. Two times visited to Gusto. Always fresh, perfect ambience, perfect service especially Silvia is the best! Thank you for your service.

It's a case of style over substance.Really great looking building full of atmosphere. Staff are really on point, very helpful and quick with your order. Sadly, it's the food that let's it all down. Out of the six people at our table, there was only one plate of food that was hot. The rest would have been waiting at the service counter for that one last order, slowly getting cold.And the drinks are way over priced.Over £9 for a gin and tonic, far too pricey.

Excellent pizzas and service. The restaurant is large and welcoming, we had a booth seat near the door but it was cosy and relaxing.Three of us had pizza which were excellent but my son had duck which in an Italian restaurant not the best choice I feel. He only rated the duck 5 out of 10.The wine selection was good and extensive and there was a good cocktail menu.The service was friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend and is well worth a visit.

Excellent pizza/ Italian place. Really good sourdough pizza. Croutons on the Ceasar salad most interesting I've ever had. Service was fantastic. Silvia was a great waitress. Wine/drink list was pretty good.

Gusto seated 5 of us with no booking after restaurant next door unexpectedly cancelled on us. Completely saved the day as one of us has mobility issues and had travelled far.Food was good and arrived fast with decent vegan options, we particularly liked the cocktails. The restaurant was really classify decorated for Christmas as well.

What a wonderful time we had, food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond for my friends birthday. We had the seasonal special starter and it was absolutely lush.

The food was great and the staff were helpful. They let us move table to be closer to the window. The restaurant was a little too hot so get a cold drink if you're there on a hot day.
