Hectors in Edinburgh

Visited Hector's for the first time post covid and I have to say great steps have been taken to keep the place clean and neat. Like the ordering online option and must say it's better than what it was pre covid. Well done to the team 👍

Excellent pub with screens and good selection of food and drinks! Staff always welcoming helpful and friendly and best of all they allow dogs - even bringing treats to the table! Space for kids too and good menu selection.

We (and by we, my boyfriend) was looking for a great place for meat pies and did Hectors provide a meat pie to his desire! Lovely atmosphere and delicious food!

Excellent food, really friendly staff, brilliant with children. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

What a find! Walked away from crowed and touristy central Edinburgh down to Stockbridge, and into Hectors. A well run pub, offering good food. Traditional breakfast was filling and good quality. The sausage was, serious! The Guinness was perfect, but so was the cappuccino coffee. Friendly and engaging staff. Recommended. We’ll be back. Thank you.

Menu was a wee bit short on what I would class as healthy options but what was on offer was fine. Went for bar snacks which were reasonable at 3 for £11 houlomi fries, Spanish style peppers and chorizo sausages. Also had korean chicken wings which were tasty with plenty meat on the bone. Prices reasonable for central location.

Popped in for a snack and drink. Nice atmosphere, good, friendly service. Busy.

Visited for our daughters birthday meal on a Sunday evening. Pub was quite busy with drinkers and dinners. Normal range of beer and wine . Table service for food and drinks. Food was superior pub grub. Nachos were particularly good. Dog friendly.

Came here on a Friday evening for dinner with a friend. We were sat at a table near the back, so it was quiet without losing the atmosphere.The service was impeccable - attentive and the servers had a sense of humour, which always helps.The food was delicious - really fresh and tasty. Good portion sizes. I thought it was reasonably priced.Would happily come back here!

Was happy to have a spot to move inside to when the rain started. Excellent fish and chips! We'd go back. Oh, and I love that they allow dogs.
