Hongfu Noodle Bar in Edinburgh

Delicious, steaming hot food and lovely service. Our family have been ordering takeaway from Hong Fu for a while now, but we'd never been inside before. We recently stopped by the restaurant after work and it was even lovelier fresh from the kitchen! Definitely recommend <3

My family visited last week while in Edinburgh on holiday. This was by far the best Chinese food I have ever eaten! We don't have anything to compare in the States. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was exceptional! I had the Sweet and Sour Pork and it was crispy, hot and delicious! Even the prawn crackers we were served at the start of the meal were fresh and tasty. If we ever make it back to Edinburgh, I'm definitely visiting HongFu again! Thank you for a great dining experience!

Loved it! The duck appetizer was amazing. We were so happy they were able to squeeze us in for Christmas dinner. It was perfect!

The worst restaurant ive ever met in UK. Dont go please. We ordered 4 noodles and after 20mins they told me sold out. A waste of 30mins in my life and we decided to change another restaurant.

On 23rd October, my wife and I visited this restaurant for our lunch. I ordered shrimp and winter melon soup, aromatic crispy duck and lotus leaf steamed rice. All meals were so good. All staffs were also very nice. Very comfortable restaurant, we felt. Although we found many dishes on the menu, we just ordered at this time. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you!

Awesome food. Superb customer service. The hot and sweet soup was the best I ever had and the satay beef noodle! I highly recommend!

Highly recommended Chinese food. We stayed at the travelodge next door (Waterloo Central) and kept seeing this place. Was slightly put off due to being pretty empty, but was pleasantly surprised with the food. Great tasty quality food, good sized portions. Chef knocked up an amazing crispy shredded beef, which wasn't on the menu 😋 Steamed ribs are delicious. 1/4 Duck also recommended. Even give discount. Seen lots of takeaway orders being sent out too. Good selection of beers. Will be returning next visit to Edinburgh. Customer service outstanding. 5*

Tasty food. One portion of steamed rice is big enough for two to share if you’re nae greedy. Mixed seafood is yummy. So is the salt and chilli tofu. 好吃😋

We enjoyed our visit here. There wasn't a big crowd so service was good. Nice ambiance with a good view. The flowers on the tables were real. The food actually tasted good and authentic at reasonable prices. A surprise for us visiting Scotland for the first time.
