The taste of home!! Quality dim sum, probably much better than Hong Kong. The cost is similar to Hong Kong. So, it's a good place to go for some comfort food! The food was so tasty that I forgot to take any pictures.

The fact that this place is full of actual Chinese people - both BBC and Chinese international students - and often literally full to the brim tells you the food is good. The exterior is quirky - the façade replicates traditional Chinese buildings and it's lovely they've made this effort - it's slightly juxtaposed with the plain brick building they've placed it on. The effort is appreciated.Staff are lovely, attentive and accommodating. Occasionally you will have a brief wait to get a seat if you haven't booked.Food is excellent. There are a lot of authentic things on the menu and plenty of JaoZi (耗子), BaoZi(包子), dim sum etc. Their NaiWangBao (奶黄包- a little bun filled with custard. They also have the westernised (and not actually authentic AFAIK) staples such as lemon chicken for the LaoWei (non Chinese person) not looking for Chinese food - their lemon chicken is good bu the way.Worth trying at breakfast too at some point if you like dimsum....Lastly the restaurant is situated on the floor above one of Edinburgh's few Chinese supermarkets (other than the very small convenience store ones which charge large mark ups) so consider heading downstairs and picking up any ingredients or foreign goodies you might want when you're finished eating!

Dim sum tastes better than average restaurants in Canton/Hong Kong. Price is reasonable. The location right next to a large Chinese/Asian supermarket is a plus.

Amazing Dim sum, meat croquetts were incredible and so tasty. Can't wait to return!

Tasty and authentic food, but we massively underestimated the portion sizes as we thought it was just like London prices. Paid £62 for 5 dishes - took half of it home for the next night's dinner. The lamb cumin and double cooked meat was very tasty!

Very authentic food, dim sum was especially incredible and can tell it’s made fresh! The staff have been very attentive both times we’ve been now. My boyfriend spilled a drink and instantly someone was over to clean it up. They had no problem speaking English either as some of the reviews on here state. Highly recommend
