Istanbul Takeaway in Edinburgh

Horrible customer service. Its getting bad to worse. I order a pizza. And got burn pizza and did not tell me about it. The pizza was burn. Very disappointed.

If you haven't had a pepperoni sarbeni, you are missing out. Lovely staff and great prices for what you get. Please support this business !!!

We had ordered 2 X ham & pineapple pizzas and a 2 X large kebabs tone delivered.Order arrived two and a half hours late, food was cold, with the pizzas it felt like trying to chew cardboard, this is what happens when you buy everything in.The meat on the kebab you could tell was several days old as it had a rather sour taste to it.Will not recommend this place or be returning.

Paid £15 for a hard and dry pizza. It had hardly any sauce for a base layer. The garlic mayo didnt even taste of anything. I ate 2 slices then binned it. Not impressed at all. Im 6miles away and it somehow got to me within 20mins. That alone just proves it wasn't freshly made. I should of just waited an extra 30minutes for the other places to open. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Paid £9 for a kebab. It was cold and low quality. The owner tried to fight us when we gave him constructive feedback. I think Turkish food is the best in the world, but it's not okay to serve paying customers that food. We tried to tell them so they could improve their business, and they told us to f*** off. Literally.

I ordered a large chicken kebab and a large mixed kebab. I thought the quality was very good, the donner was not greasy at all. I worked in a takeaway and you can tell the difference with higher quality donner. This is much nicer than other places I've been.The salad and sauces were great and my only complaint would be the meat was over cooked on the grill.I understand there is concerns with undercooked food but for a takeaway, people are either getting it delivered or picking up to take home. By the time I got home both my chicken and lamb was a bit dried out.This aside, I would definitely return and would ask for it to be taken off the grill a few mins before. Very good though!

Good, you get what you pay for. Sinful takeaway food. Great pizza and amazing kebab, they also have traditional dishes that aren't just take way kebab standard but full dishes that are a bit more wholesome. I haven't had a bug from this place. It's good, staff are nice.

Love the food. Great quality and good value for money. Staff is very friendly and professional. Definitely recommended for everyone.I have been ordering food from this takeaway for almost a year now. Every time I must say that food quality is just perfect and Mehmet and his staff is always available for any help.Definitely the best kebabs in Edinburgh, I have tried so many of these turkish takeaways but Istanbul' s quality is the best .
