Excellent coffee shop that used to be an optometrist (I assume so at least). Great ambiance and the scone with German cream and jam was extremely good!

Had an iced latte and my partner had a hot latte. It was good - creamy, strong (maybe too strong for me haha), refreshing. Enjoyed it!

I loved this place. The coffee was really good, and this is difficult in Edinburgh. Even we bought coffee beans to make in home.We ask for a chocolate cake, it was great, really soft and delicious. We definitely will go back for more. They have brunch, so the next time we will go for these.

Nice coffee shop serving a selection of coffees, teas and light food. Has a lot more seating than is apparent off the street. It looks really nice on the inside, I think it used to be an old opticians and they kept that feel. The staff was nice, the service was really quick and the teapot was pretty generous (3 cups)!

The carrot and ginger juice is delicious and loved the shakshouka. All day brunch and lovely seating by the windows. Great cafe for working in or a good catch up.

The food was excellent. I had a very nice shakshuka with sour dough bread on the side along with a croissant to finish things off. The perfect breakfast!

Always a pleasure to visit. It's one of our favourites From the drinks to the treats, everything looks and tastes fresh (made on the day) and created with love and care. The interior is calming with high ceilings and ample seating (Indoors & outdoors) it's a perfect spot for a respite, meet a friend or to disappear in a book.

Cool decor. Great vibe. Nice staff. I ordered a sandwich with bacon, brie, spinach and fig jam. Yummy and reasonably priced. Iced Americano taste good too.

Ordered 2 lattes here. Really decent coffee and made properly. Served at a drinkable temperature. Bathroom facilities available which were clean. Pleasant staff. Would definitely come back here again!

Great place to enjoy a coffee in a silent atmosphere. The staff is friendly and tries to help me in every way. The cappuccino was tasty and I really loved the furniture and interiour. The meadows is right on the corner and you can just chill and relax here. The price is fair too and the portion big enough. I tried a lot coffee stores in Edinburgh and this was one the best. They were near closing time so I had not time to try any cakes but they looked delicious. I will do it next time and definitely come again. See you soon
