AAAmazing traditional Chinese food. Very high and stable quality with a cheaper price. Polite and skilled staff. Side note: I witnessed a small incident inside the shop today. Therefore I feel like saying it in general that — life is full of ups and downs. Bad days can come to anyone. No matter your position right now is the customer or the worker, you might be carried away by the downs happened to you or affected by the frustrations of the people from the former category. It is perfectly fine that sometimes you can’t control yourself. I, as a passerby, really appreciate your efforts afterwards trying to explain the situation and apologise for the possible turbulence you have caused. On the other hand, I admit my mistake of jumping into conclusions by observing only for seconds. It is not easy containing strong emotions no matter the causal relationship is whichever the combination of everyday life and work. I know it is hard but let’s relax. Things happened can’t be undone. An optimistic mindset would make the life experience much happier. Understanding each other and a bad memory are essential no matter you are within the story or an observer. There are so many other good things happening and awaiting. At the very least, a good Chinese takeaway might comfort you. Enjoy Chinese and wish you happy days.

Hot, fresh and a good price. Salt and pepper dishes are the best I've tasted.

I got the combo box and was pleasantly pleased with how much was included for the price! I got 3 full meals out of that bad boy.The staff were very friendly and wait time wasn't too long, even when walking in off the street.

Super friendly staff. Great food at great prices. We've never had a bad meal from here. Highly recommended

After my partner ordered from here tonight, the food took about an hour and a half to arrive, we were informed the driver was on his way and waited about 40 mins for him to appear and when we asked the driver what took so long his reply was ‘it’s too far’. We’re not even a 10 min drive away and for the drive to say ‘it’s too far’, isn’t professional to me at all. Not exactly great customer service 😂

We adore this place. We hunted for a good Edinburgh chinese for over two years and then found Jiuding. Excellent food, great value and fab service. Also doesn’t feel too greasy. Absolutely love it.

I have always been a big fan of the food there but tonight was a bit disappointing. I was telling my friends that we definitely needed to try the salt& pepper chicken. Then we made two unsuccessful phones calls. The first call was hung up directly when I asked could I speak Chinese to order. Then we called again. After we confirmed the post code and delivery address, we were about to say what we wanted to order, but the call was hung up again.I have ordered for lots of times from this restaurant and the person who picks up the call is always friendly and helpful. I guess the new staff might need a bit more training because it’s kind of frustrating to place an order if the call keeps being hung up.

My best favourite Chinese of the town ever. I have tried few different Chinese take away when I was there and after I moved to other area but still they are the best one I've ever tried in Edinburgh. We tried quite few menus and none of them were disappointing. The guy at shop is very nice too. You have to use £15 at least if you use a card.
