I’ve visited 3/4 times over the last year when I am on that side of town. It’s a very relaxed welcoming place, staff are always pleasant and the food is nice too.A nice place to be 😊👍

Loved the experience of getting back to a real pub, oh how we've missed it. I'd forgotten how much a pint of draught beer cost - ouch - after the supermarkets having it all their own way for the last two years. Pearce's staff are superb, friendly and super efficient. We had a meal there on the way to a show at the Playhouse and the food was good. The only downside is that whilst their choice of background music is good, it's just a bit too loud for easy conversation.

This was my second visit to Joseph's. I like the atmosphere, the staff are attentive and friendly. Table service is great. I would recommend Joseph's if your are looking for a relaxing couple of drinks or a bite to eat. I will certainly be visiting again.

I stopped by earlier today and got some Swedish crisps, realized when I got home that they were out of date... These crisps for £3.50 that I now can not eat.The staff also did not know anything about the Swedish produce which was strange considering they sell Swedish delicacies.I really hope I'm getting a refund for this, more so out of principal!

WOW had a meal and wine here tonight. Food was amazing had soup and deep fried cheese and two meatballs. Good portions and tasty. The manager on duty she was friendly and helpful and a lovely person along with the young guy Scott also serving he was cute too. A really lovely place to visit thank you. Lee

Great food and really friendly helpful staff, a great place to catch up with friends. On good transport routes - particularly for night buses. Highly recommend the Korean chicken! And best hot chips I've had in Scotland. Will return.

Ok. So let me begin with saying, we ordered for delivery, the first 3 times we've ordered from JP was delicious, (except the soggy chips round 2 3 and 4 that taste like their oil needs changing)Cut to the 4th, 5th and 6th chances... (I know it would see we are gluttons for punishment) But, we really liked the Goujons (especially our littles) and thought it was a safe bet while quarantining and then moving house. Doordash is fast and expedient - but this is a hit and miss establishment that is best suited to in-person dining I think. The last 3 times there have been pretty major issues. 1st order was burnt - like seriously burnt. 2nd order, was served with watery aioli that was basically wet mayo and now our most recent order - the Goujons came with sprinkled cheese, that had melted and coagulated in and along with not having steam holes, that then captured the wet all over the Goujons.... so wet and cheesy. Not a good look. Had we been in house, maybe this unrequested add-on would have been more welcome - if it is a menu change, it needs to be noted.I am sad about all of this because we really felt that we had found a consistent local spot to satisfy our crunch urges.3 times is usually our meter. If someplace can deliver 3 times we know they have a good kitchen staff and proper managerial staff - but this is truly unacceptable and they were told after round 1 mistakes, 2 and 3. It isn't enough to return someone's money - you must correct for the mistakes - if they keep happening. This is a far bigger issue.Hope they get it handled. It was super good initially.

Can’t recommend this place highly enough. The staff is brilliant and OMG food! Yummy delicious mix European-Scottish-Swedish food... Meatballs and crayfish salad were above delicious. 3 platters to share in between 5 and we couldn’t finished them. Not expensive at all and super well located. They have 5 more places, I’ve tried one more and can’t wait to see the rest.
