Jubilee Supper Room in Edinburgh

I used to make this my first choice for fish and chips. Unfortunately the last three times I’ve eaten from here the fish has been poor and all the other items I’ve had have tasted like yesterday’s re-heats, including the chips!Great pizza earns the star but if you want anything else go further afield.

Seems to have completely lost the plot. Can't reach them by phone, orders arriving way overdue. What was once a really good chippy is now terrible. This evenings order - if it ever arrives - will be the last time we ever use the Jubilee!!!

They set delivery times which are never stuck too dont set times if they cannot be fulfilled. Food arrived freezing cold. Was a very good chippy years ago went majorly down hill over the years i would say hands down one of the worst in edinburgh.Tried to give them another go tonight 10.7.22 waited 1hour and 20 odd minutes for two donner wraps and a 7 inch pizza told two drivers had cancelled. Fair out with there control but for what I ordered the time it took for it to arrive then when it arrived it was cold not eatable just sooo poor from a chippy that was once one of the best in the city

used to be a great chippy but now not so. Had to phone and they got my order wrong . Asked for a hamburger supper and a donor kebab with all the trimmings. Got donor meat mixed with chicken not what i asked for and to top it all i had to keep phoning up to see when they were going to send out what i ordered. Also the guy taking the orders is rude to much swearing going on in the background from a staff member. Mario needs to get his staff in order.

Rank rotten. Fish was over cooked and batter burnt to a crisp. Chips, I think, were made a month ago. The lot went in bin. Would definitely NOT recommend. It would have been a no star review if zero was a choice 🤢🤮

Used to be good service here. Guy frying was straight up rude when walked in so went to Javits across the streey. Much nicer and professional smiling staff.

Worst fish supper I’ve ever had! Pizza wasn’t much better. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

Very upset and disappointed with our fish suppers tonight. I asked if they could please make sure the fries are fresh as they were cold and hard at the weekend. The lady said...don't worry I will make sure your order is freshly made. The 3 large fish were dry and the batter hard. I had a visitor for tea to make it worse. It cost £37 disgraceful.

Food is usually great but my order tonight was a huge disappointment. Chips were over cooked, chewy and tasteless. Definitely not fresh, not sure why they were allowed to be sent out tbh. Ended up in the bin.

Just been here to get some chip and cheese charged £4.80 asked for salt and sauce very clearly also the woman acknowledge me and didn't put any on.
