Amazing sushi with wide variety. The ambience is decent. I personally found the tables slightly tiny bit the food is worth it. We paid 84 pounds including a bottle of wine.

Wonderful experience. Extensive menu - grilled aubergine was a particular highlight - incredible. Some lovely cocktails too. Staff very attentive and atmosphere/decor also five star. One of the best restaurants in Edinburgh.

Hands down the best sushi restaurant in the edinburgh! We loved the very speedy service and quiet relaxed atmosphere. Food was absolutely amazing as well - would particularly recommend the rainbow rolls and the soft shell crab rolls. It also wasn’t too bad in terms of prices compared to other sushi restaurants!

I've been to a handful of sushi places during my visit in the UK but this takes the top spot in my opinion! Fresh, authentic, and overall a great vibe!My boyfriend believes he has a heightened sense for atmosphere in bars and restaurants, and he said this place was calm, welcoming and comfortable.

Well adapted to the COVID situation. Great service and even greater food. Quite pricey but you are paying for the amazing quality. Best sushi I have ever had!

I booked an evening here with a friend who was visiting from America.I was impressed by how cosy the restaurant is. The menu was extensive and the sushi was of top notch quality. My friend felt a little under dressed but I never felt uncomfortable coming off in off the street without 'dressing up'.We had a lovely meal here, and for between 60 and 65 pounds for two people thought the value was good for the quality of food.If you have mobility problems, I would recommend booking well in advance and notifying the staff, as I think accessible tables may be limited since a section of the restaurant is up a few steps.

Overall had good sushi, but wasn’t really anything exceptional. Sat at the bar but you can’t really see anything they’re making. Food was in general quite small portions, and a bit too expensive.I personally thought the maki all tasted quite similar, and they were very small. Best thing was the dragon rolls (£15 for the long plate of 8, probably best value). Tempura prawns were fine, though the dip didn’t taste of anything. Dumplings were good but small. Grilled aubergine was great. They also didn’t provide any wasabi, only soy sauce. We were a party of 2 people, had all the food pictured, nothing extra and no drinks (only tap water, even a can of Coke was £3) and the bill was £60.

Was very looking forward to having dinner at this place due to all the positive reviews here. However, disappointed afterwards. It’s not an authentic Japanese restaurant and the hygiene level, service and good are not worth the premium pricing.- The hoji tea tasted like water- The prawn tempura was too oily- The grilled aubergine was too salty- The dishes came randomly. One moment I had the sushi roll and then the tempura came, followed by some nigiri and grilled dishes and finally nigiri.-There’s no interaction with the chef even we sat on the sushi bar and we tried to greet him.- One of the chefs answered the phone with the gloves on and continued to handle the sashimi…- No one checked if the food is okVery disappointed

This tiny gem serves up incredible food with an eye for detail. Fresh and mouthwatering sashimi, well made lightly fried tempura, well thought out dragon rolls this place does not disappoint. This place does come with a price tag. The service was good eventhough they were understaffed. The food freshness and quality more than make up for this.

Great food and staff. Bit pricey but the quality is worth it in my opinion. Best sushi I've had.
