Kfc in Edinburgh

Staff need training on how to take orders, how not to overcook chicken.

Been in twice this weekend on a trip away. The first time certain food was on the menus above the till and after ordering them I was told that they don't do it so gave me/charged me for something else that was smaller.The second time I came with friends and we saw the advertisement for the app and table service encouraged everywhere so gave it a try. Received our food to then be told "we don't do table service anymore so can you stop, we just can't say no when you go through the app."2 times things advertised and told the exact opposite by the staff.

Been twice on different occasions after arriving from the Scottish Borders train with the family and really enjoyed our meals,place is clean and tidy with pleasant staff...only problem is with the ordering machine not providing a receipt but not going to knock a star off for malfunctioning machine when you still can get your food.. hopefully will be back in Edinburgh soon and definitely make a pitstop there..

Rubbish!!got back to hotel to find half the order missing and given mostly chicken legs. Priority is given to Deliveroo and just eat instead of waiting customers in the shop

Bit grimy, they ran out of ketchup. How can you run a fast food joint and run out of ketchup.On the upside, it's open late and it's halal.

Food was cold, the chicken a little tough, the order was apparently ready to collect 5 minutes before it came out. Paid for a carrier bag, when I asked for it they just gave me a slightly larger normal bag no handles. Won't go again.

I went to KFC on 11/06/21Waverley mallWas the worst experience ever in my life.As I entered I used the track and trace as I was sitting in.I approached the till which it was quiet and there was 4 staff behind the counter all within few inches of each other not social distancing at all.I waited a minute to get served and finally someone came over as all 4 of them was watching me.I got the impression that I was interrupting there conversation which had nothing to do with kfc as they where laughing and that.I ordered my meal which was difficult as the person made a few mistakes.I got asked again if I done track and trace even though the four members of staff and manager watch me.So I moved to the collection point which my meal was sitting there. Didn't even call anything out. Then she continued back to there conversation.I asked if I could get ketchup and some salt and I was shocked at the abuse I received from the manager. I can't remember her name badge I think it was katrina or something she had glasses.I felt threatened as she said you better have done track and trace.I collected my meal and tried to get a seat however 80% of tables was full of meals and needs to be cleaned and there was a drink and ice on the floor. There was many health and safety violations that I could see.I actually couldn't enjoy my meal as I felt treated like a dog and was eating my meal in a dump.As I finished my meal I walked past the till area and the 4 staff including the manager are all standing beside each other again no social distancing and laughing and talking about what they did last night.I feel this is shameful behaviour. Clearly doesn't care about customer service and should not be open in my opinion if it is in such a mess and especially when it's quiet and no customers.

I like the convenient location. The food was good but not impressive for me ( bread not crunchy enough and a little too salty, but the meat was nice) although it might be merely personal preference. The staff were nice.Had some problems with the ordering machine today. We waited for like 5 minutes “checking order” and nearly gave up on it. There also seems to be some problem with the machine next to us as that group of people gave up and waited in the queue instead. Hope it’s just some post-lockdown bug and they will fix it soon!

My chicken was under cooked and pink on a thick peace of the burger . Then staff refused to listen to me. While 2 walked away 2 others stayed having there chat. Service is a joke.

Very good chicken and quick service, appreciate the self service machines. The new chips however... Very very disappointing.
