Lovely lunch! Excellent quality local dishes prepared with care. Mussels were as standout as was sea bass.Great, thoughtful service.

1st time at Whiskers Wine Bar & Bistro with family on Saturday 20th November. Service welcoming, friendly and professional with food dishes and wines described in detail.Cosy atmospheric restaurant where you relaxed immediately on being seated.A party of 4, we ordered 2 cheese souffle, sour dough bread with balsamic and 6 oysters, cheese souffle to die for and everything fresh and delicious! We had a sirloin, fillet steak dish with trimmings and 2 lamb shank falling of the bone, beautiful! My husband is a seasoned steak man and took time over his fillet steak as best he ever had...a true compliment .it was not just the main dish but the peppercorn sauce...my so said he could easily almost drink it, creamy in texture, not harsh like others and a light consistency. After having 2 bottles of wine, one a rich malbec which we would have had again but last bottle and apologies but my son ordered the second after advice which was also full bodied and delicious. For desert, being full we ordered 2 lemon sorbet, lively palet cleanser and delicious plus 1 icecream, yum.To finish, the flat white coffee did not disappoint and both my husband and son had long island cocktail...we cannot rate this establishment high enough and will be back as we were in Edinburgh for the rugby international against Japan a lovely end to a great day.Thankyou to the whole team at Wonderful Whiskers!

amazing menu selections, delicious food and exceptional presentation. The Pigs Cheeks were a highlight of our dining experience. A must if you visit Edinburgh.

Excellent food in a very cosy and relaxing setting. We had the mackerel and trout for starters, and cod and sole for mains. Everything was great but the cod was the highlight!

My all times favorite Scottish restaurant. The meals were delicious and made with love. Thanks for the smiles and the kindness.

Went the first time with friends. Had French onion soup as a starter which was really lovely. Beef bourguignon as main course was far too salty, my friend also agreed. My friend veg curry was very mild and lack of depth.Staffs are lovely but service of food was very slow, took about one and half hour for 2 courses. We had a bottle of their house white wine which was very easy to drink and delightful.

Been a number of times now and really love it! The soup is amazing, a simple one really kicked up a notch. Tried both the rhubarb pannacotta and the banana sponge and both are ridiculously good. Whiskers is lovely, comfy inside, staff are brilliant and the food is amazing! Really highly recommend visiting.
