What an amazing meal, we do a 80,mile round trip to just go here for curry, the journey sounds a bit long but when you have tried the food, you would realise why. Ali and his parents are just amazing people, what a great team they are. Keep up the great work, and that irnbru nanbread was awesome.🙏🤟👍.

Very poor meal. The curry tasted like it came out of a store brand jar. Chicken was over cooked. Starter lacked depth and stodgy. Chose this place based on reviews, seems like people are easily pleased or need to try some other restaurants. Best thing I tasted after the meal was the Rennies to settle the indigestion. In a word, bowfin..

Take your own wine/beer or get a jug of their mango lassi which is fabulous! Food was perfectly cooked and not too hot. Over-ordered (as always!) so we had our leftovers boxed up to take home. Excellent and very friendly service, and the restaurant decor has a modern vibe, so very pleasant experience.

If you want quality family run service, great banter and the most amazing curry, this is the place to go. Seriously great fresh food and run by awesome folks. Very generous portions too! Love it!

They were having severe staffing issues when we arrived. Only 2 on, the service, was understandably, a little slower, for which they were very apologetic. It wasn't too busy, so it wasn't that much slower. The food was fantastic, tasteful and spicy, well presented and beyond what you would have expected due to their situation. The staff working, looked like the father and mother. We all applaud them for the sterling job and cheerful friendly attitude they showed, despite their situation. Great staff, great food, highly recommended!

It was amazing. I really enjoyed the service of very warm, energetic, living and active waiter. He was super fast but attentive to our needs and made our experience full of fun. This was just the cherry on the top. Since, the food was so good I didn't even have time to take picture. I was very filled and enjoyed starter and the main dishes with dipping bread. ¡Delicious food and yummy desserts! 😎😋

A really enjoyable curry, the portions are very generous, the rice is plenty enough for two people. The restaurant is run by a lovely family, the food is cooked by mum and dad, the son runs front of house they are really friendly. Even offered to call us a taxi when we were ready to leave. Would certainly eat there again and would highly recommend it.

The service was on point, felt very welcome, the food was okay, not what i was expecting unfortunately as i heard it was one of the top restaurants in Scotland.

Very nice food and very friendly and easy going staff. They were happy for me to change my booking from 2 to 3 people 10 mins prior to my arrival. BYOB, so bill for 3 people came to less than I'd usually expect for 2 people. Also the Garlic naan was very nice and garlicky, which I find is rare in Edinburgh

Hands down the best Indian restaurant that we had in Edinburgh! The service was excellent and the food was so good and tasted home cooked. The family who run this place are beautiful people and so friendly. Highly recommended!
