They had decent paella dishes. Not anymore.

·

The food was okay but a bit bland - there are a lot of different dishes to choose from however some of it didn't taste very fresh. I would recommend at least three portions per person. The service was average but no complaints. I wouldn't rush to go back but we had a voucher so was worth using!

Fantastic spanish tapas experience in a beautiful restaurant just off Charlotte Square. The paella is phenomenal and well worth the extra wait.

·

Warm, comfortable decor and above all consistently good food. The music can be funny though as it flips through genres in a rather unorganized fashion. Worth visiting. I will definitely go again.

The paella was really, really good and left us proper stuffed. However, what put me off going back to the place were the really pushy waiters. They came up to as as we pretty much sat down, then 3 min later, then again 3 min later etc, I have to be honest, I am quite slow when it comes to ordering, so I found this rather annoying. But apart from that everything rather nice.

I've never been keen on tapas but went along with a consensus decision. However I wish I'd dug my heels in, as the tapas dishes were ridiculously expensive for what you got, drinks equally overpriced for tiny bottles of beer and a very small jug of sangria. Most dishes were bland or stodgy, especially the paella. Service was good but that doesn't justify overpriced poor quality food.

A great, centrally located, Tapas bar. We have been here several times over the years and they are always introducing new dishes whilst keeping many of the favourites. The portions that you get are enough that you can share with someone and not feel like you have missed out meaning that if you order 3-5, depending how hungry you are, each you can get a very large spread from the menu and get to taste loads of their great dishes. Make sure and get the patatas bravas which is full of flavour compared to other places we have been and also their skewers/kebabs as they are very well done. The service is very good, with the staff being helpful and attentive, along with a very speedy service. It is worth pointing out that if you look about you can often get a money off coupon, either from your total bill or buy x get y free.

La Tasca is a lovely decorated restaurant and the staff were nice. The food however i would say is a little underwhelming. Although the menu comes with a lot of choice, I felt that when it arrived it all seemed to be battered and not very flavoursome .

Great restaurant just off princes street. We went there with friends and had a lovely meal. The portions of the tapas are good and the service is quick. Also for any gourmet society card holders can get 25% off their bill, so makes this place even better!

I really bloody love the aubergine dish they do. Although La Tasca is nice enough there's always that mass produced feel.
