Shockingly bad customer service staff had an attitude from the minute we walked in. It was like the staff were doing us a favour by serving us. Got an order wrong and the server Stephani came over and said “aye what is it” with a horrible attitude. Was like they didn’t know a thing. Food was good but outweighed by the customer service. Will not be back

The service was poor, and that's being generous. I felt at times like I was being barged out of the way when they were putting food down or collecting plates and glasses were not removed from the table which made it very cluttered. Absolutely dire selection of vegetarian food. When the food arrived my dishes were tepid, and that's being generous. The garlic bread tasted stale, and the cheese congealed like it had been sat for some time. The halloumi fries had flakes of goodness knows what in the bottom of the bowl. Having asked for sauce, then waiting for what seemed like an eternity by the time it arrived the food was distinctively cold, but no member of staff returned to ask if the meal was OK.The proverbial cherry on the cake was asking for the bill and being "huffed" at. Would I recommend it - Absolutely not. Is there anything positive I can mention - Absolutely not.Final point to note is the parking. The parking area was filled with vans taking two spaces, so I managed to get into the final space but it was difficult getting out of the car, and I didn't see any disabled spaces.

Had dinner there Tuesday evening as we was staying in the attached hotel, the food was good and the gentleman that served us was great but he did forget our onion rings we added to the order (didn't get charged). We placed our order but had to change it, they had no sirloin steak and no sticky toffee pudding, just happened to be what we wanted at that time, service was fairly slow to be honest and the restaurant was pretty quiet. Over all the food was good and the service staff were polite 🙂

Table for 4. We sat down at our table at 7.20pm for dinner. The restaurant wasn't too busy so thought good this won't take too long and we can go out for drinks. It took 25 minutes just to get a drink and for our orders to be taken. 2 starters 4 mains... the chicken starter warns hot just warm. 2 of us bordered steak. Mine was just OK, my friends well done steak looked like a piece of Black pudding it was so burnt. My husbands fish was way over cooked and dried out. We were finally able to order desserts. I ordered the churro sundae and my friend the banana waffle and toffee sundae. The men had given up by this time. My dessert, the churros were stale and had a burnt taste and were cold. The hot chocolate brownie was cold.... my friend got the wrong dessert so both were sent back. We got fed up waiting so left before dessert. After speaking to the manager it turns out the 3 useless (and I used this word loosely) Chefs had left before the orders had been put in. There was also another table of 6 waiting to order at this time. This is no way the fault of the restaurant manager, this complaint and review lies solely on the Chefs who need retraining.

Only came in because we were staying in the Premier Inn attached. Had one meal in here - overpriced, and mediocre. Half of the menu was unavailable, despite it being the first day of the new menu. You'd think before introducing a new menu someone would have took the trouble to make sure everything was available. Also, we were charged extra for sauces that should have came with the meal. Staff seemed miserable too, which doesn't help. But, first night after getting in late, the woman behind the bar seemed very stern and unhappy to be serving us. However, she turned out to be helpful and friendly. I think that there are probably problems with staff and food shortages here, and that is affecting staff morale. So, all in all, not the best but maybe not the fault of the people running it.

Meal was beautiful, what let this place down, was the very slow service. 3 hours to get a 3 course meal. Must have been aprox 25 minutes before we where offered a drink before our meal. We could constantly here waitress shouting in the kitchen.

I have given one star and that was purely for the steak I had.I booked online for dinner and my options were 17h30 or 20h30 and later. When my party and I arrived the restaurant was practically empty. This however was not the extent of the poor service we then had to endure during our meal. When we were seated we were told of the changes to the menu, which under the circumstances we are now living, was understandable. I have to say though that the online menu is completely different from what you are given when seated. One of the dishes that we ordered turned out not to be available either even though it wasn't mentioned to begin with. The starters came and we had to endure one of the waiting staff complain to another customer that he did not even earn minimum wage. Maybe if he paid more attention to the customers he would earn more tips. Once those customers had left the same waiter and the MOS proceeded to complain about the kitchen and then bad mouth one of the other staff members. The main course arrived without clearing the starter plates so there was a pileup of dishes. We had finished our meal within the hour and when we asked about deserts we were told that the kitchen had closed. I find it hard to believe that you offer booking time slots for past 9pm but then shut the kitchen at 21h30. Overall very unfriendly, inexperienced, unprofessional staff. We didn't even get a "thanks for coming enjoy the rest of your evening" at the end of it all. It really astounds me that, with the year and a half we've all had to endure, I would think that making customers happy and satisfied so that they leave great reviews to bring you business again and again is paramount these days.
