Lian Pu Oriental Express Restaurant in Edinburgh

This is the Hotpot restaurant where Chinese recommends, very friendly staff and clean food. Atmosphere is great too, moreover you can eat as much as you can! If you want to feel real Chinese hotpot, its the place you can enjoy!

This was the first time my wife and I have tried hotpot + BBQ, and it was amazing. We've seen so many videos online of the experience, and we were happy to finally give it a shot. The staff were very friendly and helpful, answering any questions we had about the dishes we were trying. Definitely recommend it! The price for the both of us was more than reasonable.

If you like hotpot or Korean BBQ, is worth to try. Price is reasonable, staffs are friendly. But hygiene need a bit improve.

The service was extremely bad. I was half way eating, and the waitress told me to finish quickly and leave because there were people waiting. Also the waitresses refused to help us with anything.

ONLY CASH place. But Super delicious and nice buffet. Various fish, vegetables and meats.

The hot pot buffet is really really fresh and such good value for money. The owner is a very kind and welcoming person. Hygiene and fresh, very good quality meat and vegs. Going every week almost. One of the best buffet you can have in Edinburgh. They have BBQ buffet as well, looking forward to try 🔜

Incredible place to eat. It's not easy to find as the hotpot bit is downstairs from the main restaurant, you could easily walk past it and not know it was there, but it's a great food experience. You get to pick the ingredients that you want and then you can cook them at the table using the hot pot broth or the barbecue grill. If you pay a little extra you get to you both. Worked out roughly £20 each for both the hotpot and the bbq, and as it's a buffet, you can have as much as you want. This place is an absolute hidden gem 👌

Nice place for hot pot fans. You have ranges of sauces with or without spicy soups. Staffs are extremely polite and cared. It located just near the school and the main streets. Price is competitive with beefs, porks, lambs, seafoods, even with some exotic shells. Recommended for not only Chinese but also for those who like hot pot. There is karaoke room and barbecue too.

The tofu and shrimps are not fresh. No scallops. Waiters are not very nice. Not sure whether this happens often. Hope this can get improved.
