Maki & Ramen Fountainbridge in Edinburgh

Very delicious Japanese food around Edinburgh. All chicken dishes are halal so you can enjoy lots of the menu here including rice and noodle dishes.The Chicked Katsu Curry is an absolute recommendation, loved the curry so much.

Great little spot for Japanese food, would definitely recommend the katsu curry, everything was well portioned and the venue was bright and welcoming. There is a good mix of sushi and and warm dishes so something for everyone. Staff service was amazing - so friendly, attentive engaging and welcoming! Would definitely go back!

Had a meal with my friends here yesterday and of course our food was ace, but it was our server, Rebecca, who made it even better. They were so friendly and even brought me a free pudding for my birthday! Such a great visit all round 👌

Maki & Ramen serves delicious ramen and incredible sushi. The ambience is always lovely and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The only downside is that it's hard to choose what to have so you might come away feeling extra full!

A lovely place to get dinner! We spent all day walking around the Edinburgh city center and we stumbled upon this gem while looking for a place to eat dinner. It was very easy to get a table and they served us very quickly! Their salmon ramen which I ordered was delicious and so was the fried pumpkin! Recommend for a good dinner in Edinburgh!

Great service , food and great staff here. Very comfortable with the menu and checked if anyone had allergies before taking orders. Separate allergy menu was provided straightaway.Food was fantastic and fast service.Thank you Foundbridge Maki & Ramen for a lovely evening and hopefully will visit Edinburgh in the near future.

My friends and I went here on Valentine's Day. Firstly, they stuck us in a corner behind a make-shift wall behind the door. No one could see us. It took the server about 25mins to take our order. Once we ordered the food came quickly but then the server never came back. We wanted to order more food but no one ever came back to ask us if we wanted anything. We couldn't wave anyone down because we were hidden behind a wall. They ignored us for 2 hours then came over at the very end and told us the next reservation was here and we needed to hurry and get out. It was very rushed and not good service. If they needed us out before the next reservation they should have said that at the beginning and paid more attention to us before the very last second. The waitress took our payment and quickly left. She didn't say "thank you" or "have a good night" or anything. She just completely ignored us. This was my first time at this location. I wouldn't recommend it. The St James location has much better service and it was busier on just a normal weekend. The sushi was fine, not the best I have had. Everything could have been better all around.

Really enjoyed our lunch, the food was delicious and the ramen extremely generous portions! Very nice decor and atmosphere, will definitely return. The only downside is that it's not closer to our house.

We had a table of 7 for a birthday celebration and the evening was absolutely brilliant. Food was delicious and plentiful, and the service from Kayla was spot on. It's a little bit noisy when full but it all adds to a great festive atmosphere. We'll be back for sure.
