Nice traditional bar with great selection of beers. Listening to the Paul Paterson Trio, lovely bonus.

Friendly staff and customers too. Beer was also excellent (I don't drink lager or craft keg). Roaring open fire (which might not have been real!) and a great atmosphere will certainly go again when visiting Edinburgh.

Old school cask beer perfection, plus craft beers too, in a waterside location. Been visiting for longer than I can remember and it's just as good, if not better, now. Great pub.

If you're looking for a great bar in Leith with a traditional but comfortable feel and a great selection of beers or spirits this is the place to go. The staff are freindly and its right on the river with some outdoor seating if you're around on a good day.
