Really lovely evening here. It was a quiet meal for our wedding anniversary. Warm welcome was received, and our waitress was lovely. Food was delicious and generous serving size. Would highly reccomended.

Visiting Mamma Roma made our break away in Edinburgh memorable. Great welcome, excellent customer service, food was absolutely delicious, served promptly, relaxed atmosphere, 2 minutes around corner from the Holiday Inn express, this Italian restaurant is a definite place to enjoy an excellent meal and relax.

Lovely Italian restaurant. Very good prices and absolutely food. Attentive staff on hand, definitely worth a visit. Bread was all homemade - great authentic Italian restaurant. Sticky toffee desert was delicious!

Just make a reservation already! The food here was wonderful. We ended up stopping by twice on our trip. Once for take away pizza and dessert then again for dinner. Even after our walk home with take away the pizza was delicious cold and reheated. The tiramisu was so creamy and homemade. So we knew we had to go back for dinner. The staff was so accommodating and the food was the best we had on our trip. I got the Ravioli di zucca and my husband got basically chicken Alfredo with broccoli which hadn’t been on the menu but they were willing to create it for him. As an appetizer we got bread selection and oh goodness was it so good. The portions here are on the larger side and we probably could’ve gone without ordering the bread but if you’re hungry definitely get it. It was so reasonably priced for such amazing food. I highly recommend.

Simply amazing! We visited mamma Roma as another Italian was fully booked but safe to say it will be our first choice on our next visit to Edinburgh!We had the focaccia with buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes for starters and it was simply wonderful. The dough was so tasty and the mozzarella and tomatoes tasted really fresh.For mains I had the calzone (without mushrooms) and my partner had the spaghetti carbonara (but with tagliatelle), they were very accommodating with our changes to what was on the menu. The food itself was simply to die for and is possibly the best Italian we have ever had.What really made the night for us as well was the staff, they were simply lovely and welcoming!We can’t wait to come back in the future!

We decided on a weekend in Edinburgh and booked in to this lovely Italian restaurant. Staff were very friendly, food was absolutely delicious. A lovely choice of authentic Italian dishes. Would definitely eat here again.

Real authentic Italian restaurant. Had food from the pre theatre menu which was all very tasty and full of flavour and excellent value. The only criticism is there isn’t much choice for vegetarians off that menu only a couple of starters and no mains. So I had a choice of margherita pizza which wasn’t listed as vegetarian but I took the risk, glad I did as it was the best pizza I’ve ever had. Service was very good.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience with lovely food. The pumpkin ravioli, though a tad small in portion size, packed a significant amount of flavour. The pizzas were well done and not too cheesy. Everything was well seasoned and service was also very good.

Outstanding meal last week! Lady who was serving our table was just so lovely with our little boy. Food was absolutely beautiful, best Italian meal we have ever had. 🇮🇹
