With great anticipation we had visited M &S at the Gyle today.Big disappointment. 15mins later I had quickly realised there's was absolutely nothing I would have bought here. I despair. There's nothing for 60 year old unless you want to look like an old granny. Some garments were a slim possibility but didn't have my size.Yes,maybe could have ordered on line, but thought we were supposed to be encouraged to shop in store???Then went to coffee shop. Queue ...20 people in front of us, I depair.Had coffee and returned later for a light lunch.Queue was even longer..didn't stay.Poor staff felt sorry for themCertainly not the shopping experience I had planned.

Absolutely shocking service in the café, despite a 20 minute queue that staff and management were aware of, only 2 tills open and the staff couldn't go any slower if they tried.

Shocking returns experience at this store. They wouldn't take back a pair of toddlers pyjamas or let me exchange them for a bigger size as our gift receipt was a few days past the return date. There was no goodwill shown, I stated I'd even accept the sale price on them so I could at least put it towards something that would fit my little girl but was categorically told thry couldn't help me. I will not be shopping here again.

M&S staff ignoring Scots law by not wearing masks to protect colleagues and customers from Covid-19.Additionally no measures being taken to control the many customers illegally not wearing masks.Disappointing considering the sacrifices the majority have had to pay.Best to avoid if your in a high risk group or simply don’t want COVID-19

This is the most efficient and best marks and spencer cafe I have been to. The staff are so friendly, helpful and quick to serve. Served today by a lovely lady. Will be back

Good range of Christmas 🎄 products and of course the food hall full of brilliant choices to make your mouth water .

The FoodHall at M&S Gyle is a massive improvement to how it was previously. The new space is bright, airy and well organised as well as the addition of wider aisles and clear signage for each space. The new REFILL space is a great addition offering cereals, nuts and oats for less than the packaged comparison in store. It would be wonderful if this offered more selection and categories such as laundry or cleaning products, maybe an idea for the future? You can also select your own frozen treats or fruits and put them in containers you can buy in store or bring your own. Their chocolate twists are delightful! For those looking to scan their own shopping as they go, or keep to their budget, the store now features handy "Scan as you Shop" handsets, which you can use and take to any of the stores self-service checkouts.

Karen in the Ladies Department went above and beyond in my hunt for a dress. This lovely girl even traced us to the coffee shop re the dress. What a charming helpful girl she was. Full marks for her exemplary customer service. I will certainly look out for her next time I am in store

This shop is having men, women, kids and food section. Clothes in this shop seems to be bit costly and of good quality. Lot of variety is available for men.Food section is also contains good variety of frozen food. Particularly shot bread i like a lot. For last few months there is discount going on cookies and biscuits which is quite good. All other M&S stores are mostly having same variety and offer.
