Mcdonald's Restaurant in Edinburgh

*****UNSAFE*****04 March 2022 (around 8.40pm GTM)A group of boys and girls where trowing bottles of water and food towards other clients. After several minutes doing so, and food being throw to an old couple, the couple reacted to the folks and left the store.AFTER one minute, the group folks went behind them, threating them outside the store. (around 8 against 2 older people).To defend his wife, the older man pushed a girl away, that reacted trying to punching him (AND HE DEFENDED HIMSELF AND THE WHIFE). The whole group went on top of the couple, and the security JUST WATCHED for few minutes the show, until (the security) got the gentlmen and his wife, and put them agaist a wall while waiting the police.MAC DONALD.A place where I go with MY CHILDREN. Risking that a bottle full of water would be thrown to their faces.IF THE SECURITY GUARD WOULD HAVE DONE HIS JOB, avoiding that the store would be damaged, and costumers hurt, and sending immediately the folks aways, NONE of this would have happened.THERE were 2 security guys in service, a tall white man with brown eye and hair was supposed to be in charge of the floor where all of this could be avoided.-------The security opered in wrong place (as outside the door is not longer competence of mac Donald), at the wrong time (as this would be avoided with a MINIMUM of supervision in a quite night), and in the wrong way. (as if your phater would be surranded by 8 people would not feel trathen ->Even by 17 years old.)

Delicious breakfast meal. Only downside is the usual steep price. Double sausage and egg meal tastes better with 20% off. £3.51 much more palatable.

As someone that considers fast food an emergency ration in the midst of war, I have never been so impressed by the Golden Arches.My little sister was in dear need of comfort abs not only did they deliver well before the estimated time, the food arrived fresh and -stunningly I most say- her 🍟 were still crunchy to the ear.Thank you for allowing my dear sister Kushi here Christmas wish and pulling out all the stops so that she might have comfort on arguably the busiest day of the year.

Just wanted to leave a thank you to Helen that was working the door around half past one today. She was so lovely and gave my son some colouring things and a balloon. What a brilliant member of staff. Merry Xmas

Not nice. No napkins, sugar ect. Tables dirty. Fruit flies at bins as not emptied. Young staff at door rude too.

The staff are helpful and patient. It's quite tight if you're sitting in, but the food quality is still good.

Staff didn't know what drinks they had had to get my own dipping sauces and napkins from the counter put on a small table when there was a bigger table available table's were not clean after customers leaving

Had breakfast on Monday morning and the staff were fantastic. Working in difficult times, with changing restrictions, they could not have been more welcoming, friendly and efficient. Connor cheerfully explained the regulations to follow, all with a smile breakfast manager (sorry didn’t get your name) ensured everyone was enabled to work to best of the or ability. Food was nice too!!

Legal capacity: 62Current occupancy: 20Queue outside: 30Really no idea why everyone needs to queue outside while the place is almost empty. I understand that not all the tables are in use because of the covid restrictions but we just wanted a hot drink and then to leave. How can McDonald’s expect anyone to queue for 15 minutes for a £1 drink which takes 2 minutes to buy and collect?
