Mercat Bar in Edinburgh

A fantastic place to eat and drink. This place is near Haymarket Station with trams and buses stopping outside too. The food served was fantastic we could not fault any of it, the cocktails were well made and went down a treat, prices for food and drink were on par with other similar establishments in the area. The seating was well spaced out so it didn't feel cramped and there was further seating available downstairs. The staff were polite, prompt and well presented.

Love going into this pub but unfortunately won't be back pint , gin & tonic £11.45 if you go into Rose St the same drink is £8.50 disgrace ripping the public of..

Dropped in here just for a quick pint to get out of a torrential downpour. Was surprised and delighted to see musicians playing on a Wednesday afternoon. Very good they were too! Ended up staying for another pint despite the weather clearing up, and wish I had time for a third.

Nice bar in west end. Service excellent and good atmosphere over the 2 floors. Able to have a good choice of menu.

I just wanted a single malt whiskey and the staff offered me many options to choose the best, a friendly and polite team, I will definitely go again.

Great little place mac n cheese was brilliant

Love this place. We have visited several times now. Deceptive size as when you look in the window it seems just a small place - but there is a large function area downstairs.Staff are always very helpful and friendly. Food is delicious - especially the breakfast options that are available until into the afternoon. Would definitely recommend a visit and we will definitely be back next time we visit Haymarket.

Hosted a 40th birthday party in their function room. Lee, the owner, could not have been more helpful if he tried. Scott, the manager, answered my multiple questions on the run up to the event.The function room is gorgeous, tastefully decorated and has everything a party needs.Will definitely use this venue again. Its brilliant and I highly recommend it.

We hired the downstairs area for 22 of us for a meal after my wee boys christening and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were amazing, really attentive from start to finish and made us all feel so relaxed! The food was brilliant as were the choices from the menu. Will definitely use again 🙌🏻

Good place to come for breakfast and lunch. Freindly staff, quick service and good coffee. Good location as it is near the tram stop for the airport so if you need to head to the airport after it's ideal. Nice setting and nice atmosphere inside too.
