Very few options for vegetarians, not so great taste, a little expensive if you consider value for money.But wait, I would have still given a 3*, if it were not for the incourteous staff.The staff was seemingly more keen in serving the fairer skinned guests over the brown skinned one. Which is the main reason for me to strike this place off my list.

I read the reviews prior & it seemed good. I especially noticed the comment about the staff being rude.I thought the food was incredible bland, flavourless even.The staff were very quick to just get me out, no chit chat, just here’s your food, bye.Go to ‘ignite’ down the road, much better food & staff.

We had dinner here a couple of times during our stay in Edinburgh. Gr8 food, very decent ambience and good service too. Mr. Mervin was exceptionally friendly n kept the service crisp. Definitely worth the money we spent.

just had a beautiful evening meal here with my husband. Nothing to worry about, forget the bad reviews posted. lovely staff, and food. Toilets immaculate. The only complaint I have is, I can't find anything to complain about.

Worst curry I've ever had. Two of us visited this place and both our meals tasted and looked the same although one was supposed to be hot and the other creamy/mild. Worst part of it all was the management trying to convince us that they weren't the same dishes. I go to Edinburgh on business a lot and I have a lot of colleagues who are based there, I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Good indian food.. little costlier but delicious. They have India map on the table but they have swapped pak-china. They have put the names of states randomly. Owned by Pakistanis.. i suspect

We went here early after work for dinner and a catch up with friends. Lovely decor and atmosphere. The service was very attentive but that could be just as we were the first ones in for the night. The menu had lots of options and some good unusual combos to try. The food came quickly and was really nice and well presented.

They serve very nice indian food at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the service is not in the same class. The waiter was a little too attentive and focused on getting us served. We felt that we were barely allowed to swallow the last bite before our plates were removed - incl. the bread which we had not yet eaten, but wanted to enjoy. Pricing seems reasonable but be prepared to pay extra for rice and bread etc. They get three stars thanks to the quality of the food. To receive five stars they have to rethink their pricing and hire a better waiter.

went at lunchtime with a voucher and cannot praise it highly enough. It is a beautiful place and has a feel of India about it. It is very comfortable and friendly and the food it beyond fantastic. It is one of the MUST visit restaurants in Edinburgh - you have got to try it at least once!

Large Indian restaurant close by to Haymarket Station. Consistently good, tasty and interesting Indian food and excellent value - especially with a voucher. The chef selection starter is huge! The temperature of the restaurant could be a little warmer and busier and the staff a little friendlier, but the service is quick!
