Absolutely fantastic B&B. It blew the five star $1000 dollar a night hitel that we stayed at in London out of the water. The room was centrally located, beautifully decorated, and spacious. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone. We did not get the chance to try their dinner but, we popped in for dessert one evening and it was delicious. It was nice being off of the royal mile and away from the noise while also close enough for a 15 minute walk to everything that we wanted to see.

This was booked as a short break and I was not disappointed. The area in which this hotel is located is lovely and very central to the city centre. I had an absolutely wonderful time and the room was lovely and clean although, by far the best experience. Wonderful, friendly staff. Food was also delicious I had dinner in the hotel, and breakfast was perfect everything amazing.

This was booked as a short break and we were not disappointed. The area in which this hotel is located is lovely and very central to the city centre. We had an absolutely wonderful time and the room was lovely although, by far the best experience we had was getting the opportunity to have a proper chat with Irene, she was a delight and a real asset to the team here, I hope she did remember the word we use for snacks......munchies!!!!

An absolute breath taking room, fun and helpful staff and an excellent location. Ideal hotel for luxury & accessibility to the centre. Loved staying to celebrate my birthday weekend. Would reccomend and will be back!

Wonderful, friendly staff really looked after us. Well presented venue but with a homey feel! Well and truly looked after here! Food was also amazing we had dinner here one night and two breakfast and everytime was delish!! We stopped here on our honeymoon travels and the team left a very sweet little touch to the room! Highly recommend! Not far from the centre or train station either!

Unfortunately I didn't find this Hotel up to my expectations . The rooms online are looking particular and cosy, certainly not mine...the hotel, if I did understand well, it is a kind of old building with rooms dislocated in different levels. Mine was on the basement. Strong smell of humidity in the corridor, heaters in the corridor off.( Edinburgh in January, I let you imagine) Decoration of the room , not at all as show on the website..( probably mine was a standard and I should book a junior suite??..not sure, I still paid 70 pounds per night 🤔)...anyway ...bathroom in the room obviously, BUT...only couple of things.. First of all a glass door like for a shower ..so you feel like no door 😅😅 at all and fan doesn't work...I don't want add more...About the restaurant...unfortunately..for some reason( covid restrictions, under staff, oos of products...who knows..) you can only go for a 6 courses tasting menu at 59 pounds( 50% of discount being a guest of the hotel)...why don't offer just a good local simple daily a la carte menu!?? It is a shame because the place could be amazing. Staff nice and friendly.

Spent a night here and wish it was more. Beautiful hotel in a great location. Our room was very spacious. The brasserie is so quaint and the breakfast was fantastic. We were warmly welcomed by all the lovely staff. I would definitely go back!

Nice stay, comfy bed. We had the cheapest room, up in loft. I bumped my head on the ceiling, due to the sloping ceiling, and I’m not that tall!! Staff very friendly, only here one night but everything was of a good standard for us. It’s an excellent location for seeing Edinburgh

We stayed here for our mini-moon and had an amazing time, we had to arrive a day late due to a medical emergency, the staff were so helpful and understanding. When we made it the next day we were greeted with champagne to celebrate our honeymoon, we couldn't have asked for a better reception. Rooms were exceptionally clean, bathroom was gorgeous, and the bed was so comfy we wanted to bring it home with us!Breakfast was lovely and had a great selection for vegetarians :)We had the best time and are already planning our return visit.

I love boutique hotel rooms and decided to give it a shot despite it being a little off my budget. Room #21 was definitely huge in size and lovely deco although it was a little different from the room I thought I will get. The bathtub was one of the reason why I booked it, I love the old cistern too, very vintage, even though we did struggle to flush properly at first. I've got to say the furnitures and sheets used in the room were a little old. There was some pink make up stain on the coffee table and some blotchy stain on the sheets. The bed creaks a lot too. The bathtub remains my favourite feature of this room, clean, big and comfortable with a window view. That said, I expected a little more from the room for the price I've paid.
