Nutan's in Edinburgh

Absolutely gem and a must try! Been meaning to go to Nutan's for a while and wish I had done so sooner. Amazingly fresh and flavoursome food, along with super friendly hosting...couldn't ask for more! Can't wait for my next visit.

Very nice authentic Indian food served up in the bustling Tollcross area of Edinburgh close by where I live.The Indian lady who prepares,cooks and serves up the food is very friendly and chatty.She makes me feel welcome and comfortable as a solo diner. She even helped me out with my new smart phone ,suggesting deals and how to use it

We just celebrated our joint birthdays here tonight. Nutan has the loveliest food and loveliest personality. She is a genius, serves, cooks and entertains everyone with delight. A favourite for homely Indian food. Food very very tasty, fresh, and full of flavours. Great place to have food after or before a film. Portions are generous, very good prices. Do go!

Nutan is the essence of hospitality and good food! I feel very lucky to have this place close to home and any occasion is good to stop for a meal or take dinner home. She always has good advice for you and is keen to get you satisfied. The quality is excellent, the place is small and nice and the menu is very varied. I highly recommend the palak paneer and the chicken curry, my favorites so far. But I'll be back as soon as possible to try the rest!

The best of local business. It's a small place but huge in heartfelt welcoming and food made with love by friendly staff. One of the best curries I've tried and when in a hurry always get a chicken wrap.

Have passed by many times but tonight I finally experienced it’s wonder. The aroma was so inviting, as was the welcome from Nutan herself. I had a pot of ginger and lemon tea, served in a cute little cup and saucer, along with the Malaysian vegetable curry with rice which was the perfect balance of flavour and gentle heat. Planning to return ASAP to try the Thali and other delicious sounding dishes.Enjoyed taking in the thought provoking quotes dotted around the cosy little cafe.Thank you Nutan.

Absolutely 💯 amazing food. We got the veggie thali and it was unreal. A million different flavours in every bit of it. The mango lassie was a great accompaniment too. But by far the best part was the warm welcome and friendly chats with the owner. A genuine hidden gem of Edinburgh and we'll be recommending to anyone who visits
