Oink in Edinburgh

Delicious! The hog roast was soft and tasty, would highly recommend it with the haggis! Very generous portion, reasonable priced and quick service ! A must try :)

Absolutely delicious, I was given extra extra crackling by my server which was appreciated. The hog meat was to die for and the portions were super generous. If you love hog roast it's a must visit.Seating is limited due to the small size of the shop and Oink is (rightly!) popular so you might have to eat elsewhere but definitely worth it

Definitely worth a stop if you are a fan of BBQ. For the price and the amount of food that you get it’s definitely worth it. I got the biggest size and it needed a little more sauce so you may want to ask for some extra sauce.

If you are in Edinburgh and you love pork, Oink is the place for it. Their servings are tasty, worth the money. The serenity and beautiful colors of Victoria street makes it even more fun and enjoyable. A good place to take pictures too.

Walked past this place while we were looking around and got astonished to see a huge roasted pork. Decided to take the opportunity to discover and asked the two gentlemen inside the shop. Both were very eager to explain what it is about. I got the Haggis Stuffing with a chilli jam, which well complimented the salty, tasty and juicy shredded pork! The crackling is indeed crispy without a doubt especially coming from me who makes crackling myself. The price is reasonable enough for the portion.I would say a must try when you visit Edinburgh! I just hoped I got more of the crispy skin though! 😂😂😂😂

Quick service and great food, although it was slightly colder than expected.You can choose your own stuffing, sauce and size so can make it to your liking and they do great deals to include drinks etc.There are a few tables inside to sit down to eat but they can fill up quickly.. Would recommend the haggis stuffing and Christmas sauce!

Great pork surprisingly made delicious by adding the traditional apple-based sauce. Quite expensive, though — overpriced, even. Staff could be friendlier, too, hence the four stars.

Walked past this place a few times and marvelled at the sight in the window of the roast pig. Finally took the opportunity to try it out, the queue outside was long so that’s a good sign, wasn’t a empty chair inside so it looked like we would be standing outside to eat.Ordered a small bun and two meat boxes.The haggis stuffing is lovely. Highly recommend it.The meat is very salty, soft and juicy, the crackling is lovely.For what we paid I was chuffed with the portion size.Wish the owners would make a deal with the place next door to allow you to sit in the wooden seating area that has been built on the road.All in all, if they could get some more seating place this would make the place perfect.

Lovely and tasty pork sandwich. I had mine with the chili jam, yum yum 😋. It was just what we wanted for lunch. The guy who served us was nice and friendly. Highly recommended.

A lovely little gem! The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious! Loved how nice and crispy the crackling was and the meat itself was so tender. Would definitely recommend.
