Ola Kala in Edinburgh

Very poor. Meat and chips were cold. Seemed as though food had been reheated. Atmosphere was dingy and freezing cold. No heating on. Serious review of standards required.Did not eat more than a few bites. Only took 50% off total bill for this.We were excited to visit a Greek restaurant in Edinburgh, but were left extremely disappointed.

Cute wee cafe and friendly owner. Will be back for some olive oil from the family farm!

A nice little spot not far from Haymarket. Has space for 7 tables or food can be for the go. Quick service, waited about 5mins for our meals before it started getting busy with the lunch rush. The gyro wrap was a good size for £5.40, the pork and chicken were nicely seasoned. With a slight char taste and came together nicely with the sauce. The sausage was juicy and not very spicy as I had hoped. But still very tasty. I would definitely return here again.

Lovely little place, reminded me very much of the little side street cafe's in Greece. Food is really tasty. Next door is a great little sweet treat ..full of Greek favourites 😍 Go and get a Gyros and wander around The Haymarket.

Nice tasty chicken gyros. I enjoyed it and the sauce was lovely. The owner gave us a yummy baklava on the house. It was really nice and tasty, homemade walnut baklava.

This place is AMAZING 😍😍 the food is fantastic 😋 and the staff are a great laugh. The menu is very tasty and authentic. The drinks are unlike anything you can get anywhere else are are amazing! I would highly recommend coming here for food.They offer sit in, take away, click and collect orders and delivery via apps.

The mixed grill is a cracking feed for two . Loved it and after finishing it for the first time was thinking when the next time is gonna be . You also have to visit the patisserie next door to ( same business ) for a take away . Not a huge eating area more like a takeaway with a few tables . But that didn't change mind at all the food smelt , looked and tasted lovely. Would recommend 100% to try as take away or sit in and sample that mixed grill

I wanted this to be good, I wanted that so badly and it couldn't be further from that.Ordered from deliveroo, the order took longer than initially indicated - fair enough, evenings are busy.The Crispy Gyros Meal was completely cold. Ok fine, good food can be tasty even cold. But not this.Dehydrated, overly salty pork shavings swimming in fat, accompanied by even dryer flavourless chips. I mean chips, it's not rocket science.The tzaziki was edible, at least. The pita... I can't even, anymore.If you've had Greek food in Greece, don't waste your money on this. Buy yourself a club sandwich from Tesco and a drink, and donate the other half of what the meal costs to the homeless soul by the exit.Also, there is a "Galakto Boureko Fyllo Juicy Cream Custard Roll". I'm not brave enough to bite into it.PS... It looks alright in the pic, no argument there.EDIT: I've been reading the reviews and I'm noticing a pattern - the poor ones are mainly from folks who ordered online... 🤔

Omg!!!! Amaziiiiing!!! hearty juicy plaka kebabs (the guy serving us, was fanatic about it :) we were told it is the same thing as those served in the Acropolis market area) It was de-li-cious! So was the chicken salad and the veggie wrap. We will definitely come back.

Delicious gyro and kalamaki! Also had the baked feta which was very good as well. Super quick service and very reasonable prices. Limited seating inside but makes for a cozy setting. Can do take out as well. Great little place!
