I had the 3 course meal here. Best samosas I've had in my life. Best aloo tikki I've had in my life. Masala pappad was spicy and mouth watering.Chappati was big and soft.Even the ambiance was great. The slowly blinking lights that resemble stars, the rock fountain, small roses in glasses. Awesome service by Nani. This place should be 5/5!P.S If you like mallu food, order the Banana Fritters. Its pazham pori.

We came to the restaurant at 7pm. I ordered nehari £14:95, nan £3:50 and starter lamb chops £6:95.I had ordered water but when the water bottle was soon empty then no-one came to replace the water. We tried asking but the restaurant was busy and we were left with no more water on the table. That was a disappointing. The lamb chops were tasteless and a big disappointment. How could you go so wrong with chops. There was such a long wait for the main (nehari) we came to the restaurant at 7pm and didn't have the main till after 9pm.After 9pm first got the nan but had to wait for the curry nehari. Thus meant after 5 minutes or so my nan was cold then i finally received the nehari. The nehari was cold and i tried eating it but gave in as it was far too cold to eat. I asked for the curry to be reheated. Finally i got the nehari that came back heated but it didn't taste nice it had a very peppery.I wouldn't order food from here as the food was not good as in taste and too expensive. The restaurant was nicely decorated but such a shame about the food, prices and service.

I visited the restaurant with a friend. The staff was not very warm or welcoming. Keeping that aside, we decided to order only 1 dish (as we were not very hungry). The waiter took our order but did not seem to be satisfied with our choice of ordering only 1 dish. He came back moments later and told us to order 2 more dishes. We told him that that's all we want but he kept on insisting that we order more. He said "you HAVE to order at least 2 starters and 1 main dish!" When asked for a reason, he had no valid explanation and and said that the manager has instructed that if there are 2 people then there should at least be 3 dishes to order. Extremely ridiculous policy and highly offending behaviour. As paying guests, we should be free to order as much as we want...be it 1 dish or 10! Also, I asked for water and didn't get that either. Of course we left and didn't dine there.

Citing greatest Omar Khayyam Quotes, Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.We were a small group of travellers visiting Edinburg and the countryside of Scotland, On August 21 @ 21:00 we didn’t have our moment of our life.On a pleasant evening we decided to have some Punjabi cuisine, Engrossed by the name and the ambience we visited the Omar Khayyam restaurants. While waiting for a table, a waiter asked my friend go wear a mask and move aside. We took it on a lighter note. Then we were served by a wise guy at Table #16, everything took a turn when we finished our dinner(food was okay). The same waiter again turned to us and asked my friend to wear a mask while standing near to his chair with no respect. We all were annoyed by the fact he was so disrespectful. We asked him, can we share our experience with your manger. He came in and given us a lectures that we should do our homework before travelling to a different country. Never listened to us.I do agree that we should wear mask when not a table and respect the Covid protocols.Only a Kind message to the management, Please respect and values others. Never give anyone a similar experience and ruin their Travel.

The worst hostel experience ever had in my entire life. A good example how this restaurant shouldn't be. Never consider this is a Indian restaurant it's just face cover to attract "NON INDIANS". "Raisist"Really rude behavior from staff, so we thought will complain to Manager who is much rude and shows all his attitude.Have attached below my bill so that you all could see the amount of food we ordered. We had to wait till the roots where go down ur seat that's when u get the food. The best part is was not even worth waiting long time. The only thing we liked is Mango Lassi, Mojita and the one single beer. They say Desi but trust me they don't mean it at all. Also this restaurant is good for BP or sugar patients because they are very clear they won't waste any amount of "SALT" for cooking.Such a ride pathetic behavior. If u guys Don't believe me please all the comments from Indian customers . It's a kind request.Thank you,Bharath Prakash
