Great food at great prices and lovely staff

The staff are full of quality banter, the food is top quality too.

Peaceful neighborhood cafe. Small shop so might need to queue outside

Love this place everyone who works here keep everyone happy and nothing is a hassle and obviously the food is amazing and fairly priced best food about town 👍

Thoroughly enjoyed the rolls and peppermint slice....still not checked my bank account to find out how much they cost LOL

I really wanted to love this, as the place is with a lovely atmophere. Unfortunately the food is inedible for me. The egg is sad, the roll is sad, the sauce is sad... Sorry.

Will re-open soon after renovation on 9 March 2021..

An absolute gem of a takeaway. Good prices. The staff are always incredibly nice and have a great sense of humor. Jan is an absolute star and just brightens your day up. If i could give it 10 stars, i would.

After two weeks in Scotland I've learned how nice the folks here are but the folks at On a Roll took that to a whole new level. Wonderful people, great food, and prices that are hard to beat. I only wish I had taken a picture to go with this post! I just need to remember a magnet from Wisconsin next time!

My husband and I are staying at a flat up the street from this little gem and have had breakfast and coffee here every single morning. It’s absolutely delicious, we both get the Bacon roll with an egg on top. The bread is fantastic, and the meat is delicious! A great couple run the place and on our first morning they even gave us a tasting of Haggis and Black pudding that they make themselves and both were very good! If we’re ever back in Scotland we will definitely be visiting this place first!
