Came for a mid week business dinner. Really busy but staff managed it well. Amazing views over the bridges.Food was really well done, well finished and great flavour. Prices seemed on point.

A beautiful restaurant in a beautiful location with amazing views across the River. In the evening, all 3 bridges are lit up and it was a stunning view. The customer service was spot on, polite and friendly waiting staff. The food was amazing, I especially enjoyed the salt and chilli squid which came with chopped chillies which was a great touch. Will definitely be back again.

I popped in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. There was a fair few people in dining so there was a nice atmosphere. The view of the rail bridge is always an added bonus too. I chose the Butternut squash risotto, it was absolutely delicious and the portion size was perfect for a lunchtime. The service was spot on, friendly and efficient without being over the top. I would definitely recommend Orocco Pier.

Duck Salad's starter with the most crunchy juiciest southern fried chicken burger had won this place, one of my top spots. The service was amazing too, extremely friendly staff. The view is one of the best views of Edinburgh, if not the best, especially overlooking the 3 bridges.Do not miss a trip here; you won't regret it.

Top marks for ambience, view, service and for the alcohol free selection. Very few Restaurants offer anything decent to the discerning alcohol free client. Usually it's diet coke or sickly sweet mocktails if you're lucky. They have actual alcohol free wines! And a good range of beers and soft drinks. Top marks! As a side note the food was only ok, I got burger and chips and the burger was well, a burger but nothing special and chips were a bit cold. but I was blown away by everything else so it gets 5 stars!

Amazing food! Loved the smoked cod and the soft shell crab burger. Really nice staff. Can't beat the beautiful views.

·

Excellent food and service in a fantastic setting. Would of got 5 stars but the food took a while however they did inform us that the kitchen was busy and apologised.

·

Brilliant burger. I felt the chips and coleslaw portions were very small especially the coleslaw and almost double the price of other establishments that do equally good burgers.

·

Very disappointing. Lovely staff but dreadfully mean portion sizes. I had the smoked haddock. I don't think I've ever had a smaller piece of fish and it was completely overcooked served on grainy mashed potato, with an undercooked slimy poached egg and what I can only describe as a forest of unidentifiable tasteless grasses piled on top. And that was £14. The 'large' plate of nachos consisted of about a quarter avocado, mashed, a couple of quartered cherry tomatoes, a few erratic black beans, no cheese and no salsa. Again appalling for £14. One meal was served stone cold and sent back and the vegan bean burger was just soggy and tasted of blotting paper, oh and tiny. Also £14. All in all a truly depressing experience apart from the charming staff.

·

Way overpriced. A crab burger on a tiny bun with fries £20, 750 ml bottle of still water £6. The crab burger is not listed up as such in the menu of course, it has a fancier name, but it is still a small-size burger. The food tasted ok but it was not excellent to justify the prices charged.
