Struggled to find a good Indian restaurant in Edinburgh that wasn't "contemporary" or offered "fusion" cooking or even served alcohol unless you took your drinks, after being recommended this restaurant by our hotel owner we were not disappointed! Great food in nice clean surroundings ! Excellent!!

Ordered and paid for food on Deliveroo and it wasn’t delivered.Claimed it was left outside of our hotel on the street. Strange place to leave it, why not leave it at reception.Stay well clear if you don’t want to be ripped off.Hassle now to make fraud claim with Mastercard.

Service was great. Food delicious, very enjoyable. Visiting Edinburgh, picked this at random and glad we did. Its near the road works around John Lewis opposite side of the road to the theatre.

Best Indian food we had in Edinburgh during my semester here. Even better than Mother India. Thankful for the recommendation from our friends in Leith!

Great Indian superb choice all our curries and accompanying dishes were fantastic the girl waitress was fantastic and good choice of beverages overall and the six of us agreed probably the nicest curries we have tasted would highly recommend and will be back.

Authentic Indian place in city CenterAlthough we saw only one staff member managing the show at 7 pm on a Wednesday evening - he was doing very well! I was in Edinburgh on holidays and found this place by luck - someone had recommended another Indian restaurant around the corner, but their kitchen closes way too early and were just checking what else was around there. Well, lucky us! I live in London, where we have Asian restaurants in every corner, but this was the best Indian food I've ever had. Lovely staff too. Strongly recommend :)

Very kind and caring staff. The food was delicious, we ordered vegetables pakora, chicken pasanda and lamb biryani. Definitely a place to try if you're visiting Edinburgh.
