The staff were friendly and welcoming and took my booking over the phone without hassle.Upon arrival they took our coats to dry and were quick to ask if we wanted to order anything. We ordered a pickle tray and poppadoms and knew we made the right choice as these were all delicious and the mint and yoghurt sauce was homemade. The samosas were also handmade and fresh and delicious.I ordered the Kathmandu chicken and it was bang on. Warmed as I ate it beautifully, the chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked. The naan bread I ordered to accompany it was also phenomenal, no skimping, full of ingredients and fresh.Thank you so much

One of my favourites in Edinburgh. Delicious curry and reasonably priced, lots of options including amazing vegan dishes too. Staff are very helpful and friendly, can't wait to come back soon :)

Came into Pataka today, great experience. Food was served fast and well cooked. Service was lovely. Tried the Punjabi karaoke gosht and is now one of my favorites! Definitely recommend.

Had a lovely time! Pataka had great service and a selection of food and drink. Wasn't exorbitantly priced either. Definitely worth a group night out for indian food. Will be going back

Starters looking sad and mediocre. Rice served cold! the rice we got from the Chinese on our way back home was hotter on our arrival at home! Portions small, 6 pieces of Chicken served were dry and not fresh, I had to spit the second piece in my napkin and stop eating. The sauce was with no flavour, for the first time ever in my life I had to add salt and it didn't help. My partner ate his as it wasn't that bad and was starving. But he agreed that it was one of his worst Indian ever and that mine was terrible. I told all the above to waiter, he offered to bring another one, I declined. When paying the bill he pointed out that he had removed my dish, to which I replied, of course you have as it was not eaten.

Very polite staff, good prices and excellent selection. All the food I had was delicious. There's also a great range of spicy dishes and some very mild

Great food as usual. Staff polite, professional and look after you really well. We get take outs a lot from here and have eaten in. We are both veggie and super dishes.
