PekoeTea in Edinburgh

Absolutely delicious tea!! However, a little pricey for my purse. Will return when I want to treat myself, which will probably be next week.Take back my words of it being too pricey!! It's well worth it and not over priced. I have been buying Pekoe breakfast blend for well over a year now, cause it's so yummy!! Highly recommend!!

What a beautiful shop. I really enjoyed going there and speaking to John. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. I got more of an understanding of white and green tea and ended up leaving with a lovely Chinese green tea that I was able to try in store. I can't wait to try more!

Huge range of well chosen and excellent teas with staff that have the knowledge to back up the selection available. Nice and quiet cafe, great place to enjoy some good tea.Also has a great selection if teaware.

If you want to try out REAL tea, this is the place to go to. They have a massive selection of different types and she is knowledgeable of the kinds of teas. It is almost hard to choose because of the great selection

First time visit today to PekoeTea and we both loved the teas. The staff could have been a bit friendlier but they were very knowledgeable and certainly advised on good blends to suit our taste. Liked so much that I bought a big bag of their homemade Earl Grey blend home.

Did not expect to find a place on our Edinburgh trip that would serve me delicious Chinese oolong in gongfu style. The nice lady at PekoeTea did and we really enjoyed our time there. Definitely a recommendation for all tea lovers visiting Edinburgh.

Good place to buy tea, but for drinking gong-fu style you are not given your own hot water vessel (thermos/teapot). You have to ask for refill every time your small teapot is finished, which, for 2 people is ~ 2 teacups/sips.

Absolutely the very best place to get tea in Edinburgh. A great selection without being overwhelming, and the quality is second to none. With a few small tables to sample the tea and delicious shortbread, as well as artisan chocolate and coffee and the loveliest teaware.
